Subject: General Sponsorship Offers

I fluked out and got a 5* general on final day. A whopping 200k more then last year. Upgraded HR two levels. Don't promo until you can finish in the top of the league.

Problem is, with the new process of filling the higher leagues empty spots with lower teams, many teams are being promoted without being ready. I feel bad for those teams coming to III.2. We have many teams above 80 strength and they're coming in with 40 or less. They'll get slaughtered.

For my media sponsorship my 2,3 and 4 star offers were all about 6.5m

That is what happened last year for me in III.3 could only compete with the other promoted teams. In a new div 3 league this year. Hopefully goes better, wish I had gone to div 4 and owned teams and could be in line for promo money again as well as winning the league for the sponsorship money.

Yes, I see that you're now in III.8 though and you should have a much easier time there. Some teams in that league have strength in the 10s while you're most a mid 40s low 50s kind of team right now. If you play it right, I'd see you in the playoffs in III.8 this season or the next.

Ya I agree, at least top half of the league this season with a shot at playoffs, and definitely playoffs next year. I feel bad for the teams with overall of 10-30, they are going to get beat down like I did last year. It doesn't make the game as much fun, and it hurts the sponsorship offers a lot.

I know. When I was in IV.8, at some point we were down to 8 managed teams. It didn't make it fun but it did allow you to prepare for the promotion. Now, being forced into promoting makes it hard for new players.
I mean, I see teams with 20 strength coming into III.2 this season. We have a team with over 100 strength in here and I should be in the 90s. We'll just mow them down, even with our friendly lineup. Not fun for them or for us.

1 star general :/ would be a pay cut of 9 million from last year... rejected!

My media offer is double the previous season's offer, which makes sense since I doubled my seating capacity. In total I get 1.5M$ more per week.

Looks like a 1% raise for TMO this season.

A raise is a raise. Lots of pay cuts going around I suspect.

I'm happy. The big barn makes a big difference with the media offer, but it sure costs a lot to maintain throughout the season.
