And many of us don't want those details.
would be good though to know things like number of plays set up or passes made/not made, faceoffs won by each centre, how many turnovers created by each player.
Then we could actually measure these things. At the moment the only thing to go on is shots and goals.
also knowing how a player determines whether they are going to try and use physical force to get scoring opportunities or speed/handling would be useful. Does a higher agressiveness/technique ratio mean that they are more likely to use physical force instead of technique or is it just a random distribution? If this ratio does have an impact then if your opposition had low tech/aggr you could know which of your players were likely to do well.

@vlady
"Aggressiveness is not a secondary attribute for a center. Therefore most people don't train it for centers. That's a fact."
Does that mean aggressivness for centers is treated like shooting as a tertiary attribute... which means you just weaken the player's in game performance proportionally to the difference between their actual attribute and the optimum value (which is to be found out)?

LOL you never give up do you.
Would you like Vlady to just give you the perfect attribute balance and completely remove the MANAGER part of the game?
Vlady said the other day that Aggression is "Not a key attribute" for centers. He never said it's not important, nor did he say it is important, just that it's "less" important.
Shooting on the other hand is in all reality now a secondary attribute, especially for forwards.

lol count: knucklepuck 2 - 1 trueblue
Give up? This is just the beginning. :p
Now that trueblue has initiated a discussion about secondary and tertiary attys, there is something I've been wondering since season one. I'm sure Vlady The Great can give me a profound answer. Is there any diffence between secondary and tertiary attys in how they influence game performance calculation. Do all of those attys just contribute to a single "player ability" virtual attribute to calculate the player ability?

Vlady has shown his calmness many times, because we all know that it is hard to do your job when few hundred people ask you every day something about the game, from trivial questions - "how to set up my lines", to these about influence of shooting and tertiary attys.
It's not his fault that he can't say everything we ask from him, it's just his job.
I'll tell you about tertiary attys and shooting in PM. And I hope you will understand it.

No probs. Knuckle is also a good guy, and he needs help from some of us for some issues, I guess.
He's not good, he's just very good at being bad

Lunch is over now, Vlady. Time to answer some essential questions, don't you agree?
