If a team has gone inactive but it has a pretty good player, is it then possible to add the player to the national team to make this dude available on the market? Or should the player already be added before the team goes inactive?

only nt players are on market from inactive team. Loerup you are little to late... he is dead and gone

I just read the guide again, and yes you are right. Only players from nt team are sent to market.
But if a player with 250 OR or more is fired, he is sent to market also.

I don't know if it will work, but could make for a fun experiment.
Considering the season is almost over, if you have the spot on the national team to take a risk on him, it can't hurt, and then you/whomever is in charge next season can remove him.

yeah, he must be on the NT before the team goes inactive. After that, he will never make the market.
