im just trying to get to the bottom of your insight into the game engine. your knowledge of the lack of on-ice action and claim that only line strength is being compared for results.

He does have a point about elections though, but that's not the fault of the people.. the US political system is flawed and does not encourage voters to get involved.

I am an American, born and raised, I vote each and every election, I shun the stupid idea that politics are taboo to discuss and I try my best to get people out to vote and discuss issues, I think it's healthy, but our countrymen are for the most part apathetic and not at all action oriented, if it takes more than a little effort they just take the path of least resistance.

If you don't believe me then send a PM to the developpers and tell them there is this guy Knucklepuck who claims to know everything about the game engine and that there is no on-ice simulation/action and the general idea of the game engine is to compare each line strength. Add that you don't believe me.

just 2 quick questions about forthcoming changes:
1.) shooting: will there bi changed formula how is shooting calculated in overall strength of team? As it will become more important...
2.) 3-4 lines: will you make difference between team playing with 3 lines and team playing with 4 lines bigger in one single game (bigger fatigue difference - and of course performance difference in 3rd period) or this will stay same?

there is a hidden star rating for every game and the star ratings from the games for which the players have been selected into the AS team will be added together. the player with the higher accumulated star rating from these games will be the one in the season all star team
Vlady, as Knucklepuck seems quite confident in his comments on the previous page, could you comment on those for us?
1. team strength indicators will be adjusted. But probably not shooting, only goaltending, which is the one that seems to be skyrocketing up under the current formula.
2. we are not planning to change this in a single game. Seasonal energy decrease, however, will be based on ice time.
