To do it right they should put the ad in a footer so that it never blocks content.

Regardless, I think that more people could be ponying up some dough. If you're enjoying the game, you try to support it.. Especially a game not being produced by a major corporation.

I mean, the virtues of pro pack are already in the header constantly. I assume pro pack users don't see that. Why do we need the more annoying popup. Why not ensure the header shows even in the general areas if they want more exposure.

I suppose I would prefer annoyances to non-ProPack users instead of in-game advantages to ProPack users. If ProPack users were to be given some sort of advantage over non-ProPack users, I think that'd take away from the game. I mean, we have some advantages with reporting, but it's not like we have an extra Training Camp or somethign like that.

The only alternative is to somehow convince people to upgrade to ProPack is to either limit their game experience (which is kinda already being done), or have some annoyances.

I would like to make a suggestion on how to help keep things competitive. In order to help keep OR, and therefore income, reasonable for all I suggest a period of ineligibility for participants in the major tourneys. So for example all participants in the CWC and CLC aren't eligible the following season. Perhaps the CLC participants could even have 2 years off, but that may be too much. All that are ineligible of course wouldn't even participate in the national cup since they wouldn't be eligible to win a spot.

This would really go a long way to bring in fresh blood to the tourneys and break up the strangle hold of the dynasty teams. By spreading around the reasonable chances it will help drive up interest in the game and longevity of players.

What's the point of Champions' league if the champions of national I.1 leagues won't play there? And what's the point of Cup Winners' Cup if the cup winner won't be eligible there? The bet teams of previous season are meant to play there. And on the other hand there really isn't many dynasty teams who have been in international cups every season so far..

That's why adblock is so good, you can set it so it never loads in the first place.

you sir, ROCK! I just put in the adblock addon and it's great! No more evony tits or annoying popup overlay! If they ever finish the game they can earn something off my through my willing donations.... but until then.

There are plenty of dynasty teams, just look around! Beyond that those type of teams will only be more and more entrenched as the OR gap widens. I see a pattern tho Antsa, you have a great thought process and wit about you but deny any issues until they are blatent and even then may not address them. Just about every complaint with the game I've noticed you deny, going back to season 1, has been realized.
It's not a perfect system, and probably wont be, but it takes something to try and recognize the shortcomings and address them in some manner.

well it got rid of the ads on the right, but I still have the popup. And now it show the Buy PRO pack message.

I realize I spoke too soon. I've got the same thing going. What page needs to be added to block that popup?

The irony is that I didn't mind seeing their silly ads to support them but when they crammed the popup down my throat it made me not want to have any in support.

Hmm i'm a pro member so i don't see the actual ad, but if you right click on the popup, there may be a "block this" option. Sometimes it takes a bit of tweaking to get it to work.

There surely are some issues with sponsor deals, OTR from international leagues, market etc. I don't deny them all. The noname team players in market was a clear issue but some "issues" are not really issues but they work as developers have it intended. There are just some people who disagree with the way developers have thought it. I like the game and the way some features are developed, thus not wanting a change for them. I can adapt very fast if a fix appears so it's not that I'm against a change "because it's not good for my team" but why to fix something that isn't broken?

What comes to CWC and CL, they're both great competive and respected tournaments where the best teams from all countries fight against eachothers. The OTR bonus from them may not seem fair for teams who not play there but teams need a reward to take the tournament seriously and respect the teams who compete there. Otherwise it would be "just a tournament" without a meaning. And honestly, there are also drawbacks for the teams who participate in those tournaments. I'm pretty sure I've lost the chance in my national league for the title in last couple seasons because of playing in CL and thus losing a lot of energy.

If the system was perfect (as fair as possible for every team), there wasn't tournaments like Champions' league or Cup winners cup.

Ahh yes, but therein lies the problem.

Those teams playing in those tournies are already the top of their leagues, so getting a nice boost from OTR and sponsor money already. Then, they get this extra perk which gives them even MORE benefits, pushing them ever so slightly more in front of their competitors.
