Since the beta i'm support this idea, and believe it is a difference maker with other manager games.
Roger that - hopefully you guys will pick it up again at some point.
I realize that the matching of commentary and the highlight reel is a challenge as you have so much commentary already in place. It would more or less require a re-write of the comments as the translations may differ too much from language to language.
However that is something you guys might want to keep as a action point - as that would also generate more interest towards the game as one could post the highlights to f.ex. youtube and that would be a great way to get more eye candy for the modern youth

I'd really like to be able to change tactics during a game. If I'm losing 3-0 after a period and being outshot 2-1, it's obvious I have it wrong. As a coach you wouldn't continue playing in the same way if you were being dominated. So, like changing the goalie and number of lines within tactics, can we have something which will enable us to switch tactics?
So I sold all of those useless players as you called them, but non of them was sold for less then 300k... so... there is the point of paying 31% taxes... as well as I agreed to sell them with 18%, so how they can take 31%... there is lots of nonsense in all of this...
It would be nice if the plus/minus stat for players reflected their time on the PP and PK as well (this is how the stat is actually added in RL, oh and the player in the box gets a -1 when a goal is scored while they are in it, too).
uhm, i think you need to google plus minus because it doesn't work the way you think it does
You're missing the point.
Everybody could sell 90% of the players they get from the S.A. We all know that, but that isn't the purpose of the S.A., or the marketplace.
The S.A. is designed to give your team future rookies/stars. You might find that each year you only keep 2 or 3 players from the SA and sell maybe another 5 or 10. The rest... just discard or reject.
Why should PPM change the system to cater for people who sell essentially junk players with low qualities?

What DarkAddiction said.. well, close anyway.
+/- is NOT affected by PPG, but it is by PK.
Here you go:
Plus-minus is an ice hockey statistic that measures the team goal differential when a specific player is on the ice. Players' plus-minus stats have been tracked since 1968. They get increased by one every time their team scores an even strength or shorthanded goal while they are on the ice. Their plus-minus is decreased by one every time their team allows an even strength or shorthanded goal while they are on the ice (whether or not the net is empty does not matter for purposes of plus-minus).[1] The plus-minus is never affected when a power play goal is scored by either team.

on the next game page of the national team there's still the "team rating = 0.00" shown for the national teams, where that doesn't show on the national team page anymore...
guess it can be removed

I think it would be nice to be able to switch anytime on the website between our teams. Like currently we can "only" do it from the forum part, but it would be nice if even if I'm on my hockey players page, i can click on my soccer team logo and vice versa.
Navigation would be easier.

Why is it up to you to determine the purpose of the S.A. or marketplace for other people?
Last I looked it's not.
Just like I don't make the rules, PPM do, and they have clearly decided by the penalties that selling a lot of players (which includes all those low quality & low OR junk from the SA) is clearly not what they had in mind when they designed the market place. If they felt otherwise, there would not be a penalty.

That is a very good description of a situation that I must learn to accept, as much as I would want it otherwise. My guess is that they are seeing some kind of endemic cheating or unintended advancement by these means by some teams through a more open market.
I'd kind of like to know where the billions in $ of fees are going though... lining some league official's pocket? the government? league building maintenance sharing? supporting the virtual national cup tournament? I know I've paid a decent share into this sink fund.
