I've set a new goal for season 4... to be the #1 day-trader on PPM. hahah
lolol
I have some guys in the queue to be sold, just need to train em up a bit

I figure if i train and sell junk to enough people, i might earn enough to at least semi-compete. lol
That was a big part of my strategy for this season! I recognized that I was falling behind and had to do something to augment my income since sponsorship is by far the biggest source. It didn't work out as well as I had planned in that I wasn't able to train the investment players as fast as the market made them obsolete. I got very lucky and drafted some good players I was able to sell for a good price before they too fell behind in training level. I managed to have player sales be within 4m of sponsor income for the season at least. Total is still 27m lower than sponsor income tho. I dont have the investment in saleable players like I did so I dont think I'll be able to do as well on the market unless I get lucky in SA again...
well you know I was told to stop worrying about whats right or logical and deal with the rules. Might as well exploit the rules then and sell sell sell.
That's right, work within the rules but work them as hard as you can.... Just be careful tho because there doesn't seem to be nearly as strong of a market for 1 atty junk for example. I have 1 such player to unload this coming season. It's a goalie with 2ndary stats 30 I tried twice to sell last season for like 4mil and failed. He's now up at 120 primary so hopefully he sells for whatever! I wont deal in that type of player again tho.
from my experience selling junk players, dont set them price at the beginning to high, just about 100k or 200k, let ppl bargain for them, at the beginning theyll think its cheap and go higher and higher, and in the end it will be like "ahh what a hack why not raise a bit more"
i sold many one attribute players and got alot of $ for them... and I sold only 2 or 3 good players and made total of 73 510 266 just from player sales over season.

See, my issue is, i hate people that scam people on the market like that. That's why i've never done it in the past... i think it's unethical and unsportsmanlike.
Which is probably why i wont do it this season, and will remain forever a team striving to compete with no hope of ever doing so.

well look at that from other point of view... weak teams with not so great income need better players, they cannot afford great players with all good attributes and qualities, so they buy these junk players, well they are junk for good strong teams, but for starters offense player with 90 main attribute for 4-5mil is great, i did same thing in beta, buying these one attribute players to get my teams perfomance better, these players kinda help these starting teams to get victories, gain OTR and with that get better sponsorship and all... thats how I see it...
and one more thing, its not so quick to train even just main attribute up to 90 or 100... it takes time!
Err no they're not! They may have 90 main attribute, but if they have shit secondary attributes they're about as useful as a bucket of crap!
The really sad thing is people use that "they're great players for weak teams" as a way to justify them screwing the weaker teams over.
Sad to say, but this is an issue i'm quite passionate about.
