Subject: National team Q&A

A quick update:
1) Later on today we will announce about half of the Team
2) We will also be making room on the roster to add new player
3) 550 OR, 70 AQ, and strong CL will be the starting point (we may have the odd exception)
4) Throughout the week we will try to add a few players each day to the roster
5) We will also announce 17 players that will be on the World Championship roster. It will be top priority to get these players as much NT Chemistry as possible throughout the exhibition season.

Deadline for submission to the NT Database is Friday after the hockey games are played. For those of you on Eastern Time that is 12:30. Once you can see the score of your Friday game on your calendar, the deadline is upon us. I'll make my recommendations to Neill in terms of top players and prospects in each position. Final selections will be made prior to Sunday.

Well that's the thing for us. Not much quantity for the upper echelon of players. Not a very built up country like Slovakia or Latvia. ( So pretty much anyone in III down don't really have much chance of getting a player to crack the line up.

Yup... But it'll come given time.

Exactly. As facilities top out towards level 13-15 in divisions 1-3 after a few seasons all players will be on the same level upon getting pulled and developed. But it certainly helps getting I.1 through VI to chose from compared to 3-4 leagues

I would say that 15 of the top 50 players in Canada come from one team. I wish there was a better pool of teams to choose from. Hopefully we will have greater depth with our National Soccer team.

Sadly we have less soccer teams than hockey teams. However, we have lots of managers who started on day 1 in soccer and lots of facility growth so I'd say the future looks promising. PLUS... soccer you really only need 11-15 solid players.
