As the Calgary Patches are a dedicated team to the Commonwealth of Nations and their players, the team is very happy of the announcement of the birth of a baby boy third in line to the throne of Great Britain and the Commonwealth. We also managed a surprising 7-2 win today in our placement series game. Congrats to Will and Kate!

I heard it'll be their first-and-only child. As biznow said... she got torn to shreds when the baby boy and his royal crown pushed through XD

Closer than expected. Happy with the result, but it was really close. Too close in fact... I was expecting a 5-2 win or something around that.

It was a one-game test. Without a win, my plan was to go VL and try my chance in the promotion round. But now, with a win and at home, you can expect a VH, 3-line lineup. Be ready !

I will be changing next to nothing and expecting a similarly close result.

I've played three games in a row at VH. I think my guys are close to 80 in energy even after last game. I won't stand this pace for long, but all a I need is another game. They can do it. Be ready to suffer quite a bit at the Blow it all ! Center tomorrow !

The Calgary Patches have finished up the placement in 9th place. This caps off a great season for which the expectation was lower due to team fiscal focus. Together with a 9th place regular season finish, the Patches have tied their best ever record, set last season, finishing 9th in both regular season and in the placement.

This season marks the second straight time Patches have finished 9th in the regular season, and it is the third straight time the team has finished 9th in placement. The team has finished 9th in placement in six of the last eight seasons in II.3.

Using Mark Carney-esque predictive and action models, the Patches are set next season for 9th place!

The Patches have also eclipsed 400 OTR for the first time today, a fleeting milestone as OTR is set back next week.

WOOOOOO! Congrats bud! I predict 8th next year... just sayin'.
