Well, I achieved my goal for the season of sticking in II.3. Now to see how high I can finish.
I have one mission and that is to win this series against Fleur de Lys.
My 0-0-1-1 record against them this season was my worst against any team and directly resulted in a 2nd place finish.

Was away from PPM yesterday. Good thing I logged in this morning before 11am ET... otherwise I wouldn't have been able to set my tactics vs. Dino and would have certainly lost. Upped my importance so we'll see how that goes. I still think he is the team to beat this round.
It certainly would seem that the championship team will come out of the 1-4 match-up.
Here is hoping my 16yo GK can get a win in game 1. If not I'll have to win back-to-back games

They won't, OTS won't drop enough for it. And, mind you, I'm not trying to lose. I thought about it long and hard and I think I can win with him in net. He is on a short leash should he give up a few early ones. Truth be told, I can't remember the last time I lost playing anything higher than normal importance. Perhaps I am a bit delusional. I'm curious to see if/how much his EXP goes up.
Hmmm... not dominating shots like I expected. Perhaps I lost the tactical battle today in which case... COME ON HOME ICE ADVANTAGE!
Edit: 0-0 after 20min. Dino with a slight edge on shots.
Edit 2: 2-0 Dino after 40min. First goal a deflected PPG. Second scored late. Shots are close at ~20 each but he is certainly getting the majority of the scoring chances. Goaltending is not a factor at the moment. Bumping to VH importance.

3-0 for Dino. Golem surrendered 3 goals on 28 shots. Not a bad outing. I couldn't score which was why I suspected Dino would beat me should we meet this round. Had I played Newts the result would have only been more painful to swallow (i.e. 1-0L)

Happy to steal a win at The Beer Garden against the Infidels today. If I can pull off another W at home I'll be quite pleased with the possibility of finishing 5th or 6th in the playoffs.
Totally worth playing VL in the first round for. You sponsors and OTR will approve 
Quite an interesting result. I wasn't able this morning to review everything before coming back home (NY to Quebec) and I freaked out a bit when I saw that I had TWO injuries right before the game. But the result is just fine. No one is seriously injured. And a 3-0 win. Can't ask for more.
Strategies will be the key for the next game. Home ice advantage is on my side now. It should be a really good game to watch live. Good luck canucks.

Thanks bud, I won't be holding back energy wise, but I suspect you know that. Outside of that I may use a random number generator to select a tactic, just so I'm not mad at myself if you counter-tactic me again
