Ouch... lost to the last place team. This'll take me a while for me to figure out. Save percentage under 50%? Wow... bad bounces.
@Metropolitan - I'm surprised to see that your goalie didn't get credit as a star of the game when he posted a .944 save percentage to steal a point as an underdog. Meanwhile, my guy gets 1st star for an average performance. Doesn't seem fair.
Thank you PMullings but your goalie did win the shoot out. Anyway I am glad to take one unexpeted point out of this game and see my team still in the race for a playoff spot.
Bradly Paulger had the first goal of the game last night in a heart-breaking 5-4 loss to WebSimSports. The goal brought him to 100 career points with the Patches. He is the 25th player in Patches history to reach the 100 point career plateau. There are only 6 active players with the Patches that have more points.
man..this game is getting worse daily bonus for logging into your team? You've got to be kidding me...
hockey.powerplaymanager.c... - This is totally unfair for the Bricktown TwigStarz. They lost a home box office because Exceleration couldn't field a team. A forfeit should come with a penalty to the forfeiting team. Exceleration has lots of money. Bricktown should get the equivalent of a sold out game + $1,000,000 to make up for lost souvenir sales, popularity, and statistics.
Great game to the Screaming Weasels. A real good match-up there.
Shocking that Stu Fotiadis is the third star -- by my calculation, he was in a two-way tie for 7th worst performance in the game, definitely not top 3!

Indeed. Good game.
Temm and I have an ongoing joke about Stu. He has quite often been outplayed by MANY players in a game yet comes away with a star. <shrugs>

Stu is a freaking superstar. If you have him in a rung II game, chances are he'll come out a star most nights.
Just shows (as in real life probably should be) that perhaps there is more to being a star in the game then just the statistics they put up. How many dekes? How many dangles? How many opportunities created? How many times he shows up in the right place because he is paying attention? How many times does he energize the fans?

Good points, Temm. Still, no points and a minus one effort where other guys got a couple points...?
Anyone have any thoughts about Exceleration's forfeiture against the TwigStarz? I really think it sucks to lose the home box office.

I saw your post about that, and I agree it's not fair. If you can't have a team together for your home games, then whatever. But when it's another managers home game, they should receive some sort of fine, and the home team should receive compensation.
I know I'd be ticked if I didn't get money for one of my home games, and I only get $780,000 for a home game.

I think Stojan Cocievski is entering Stu Fotiadis territory, "earning" a 2nd star with an .863 save percentage in a 3-2 home loss.
Disappointing loss there but props to the Hammers who dominated the face-off circle and neutralized the power-play.
