It sucks anyway. It would be far more interesting and complex with having such influences.
I agree. I mean, in reality you can't build 20 one-dimensional players. In soccer this has been accounted for.
In auto training, i use for example 4 - 2 - 2. If i wanted to put 4 - 2,5 - 2. Could i just put 40 - 25 - 20 then and get same training?
Maybe it's still too early to tell. Once players have 400 first atty, a difference of 200 to 50 for the defense atty of forwards would maybe become a huge factor. Maybe then all of us will train tertiary attys just because training the primary would result in too high salaries or too much interest from other teams once the player got UFA.
I would say it's not to early, because defense indicator has not moved at all, and difference in strength between 2 centers was about 200 in defense.

How high is the attack attributs for both centres. Were they trained as defencemen and pût théier as centers? Are they real centers or only defencemen stuck their for the trial? Thanks for the example

I know that you don't see the difference in team strength summary. It's the same with passing for wingers, team summary doesn't show it. But (hopefully) it doesn't mean there is no difference in performance, does it?
What most people say/think is that their is not such impact with the game engine calculation that is worth to train defence for wingers/centers, and offense for defencemen...you waste training points that is a lot more worth to siens over main attributes at one position.
Attack attribute I don't remember, and it isn't important in this case. What is important - every player from that line had 0 chem, low exp and 1 or maybe 2 in def skill. They were bought just for this purpose.
@Knucklepuck We can't calculate "hidden things". If we put to much mysticism into this engine, and we all know why we shouldn't do that, everything could be explained as product of hidden attributes, and that would make engine perfect.

I find it interesting that most leagues are led by dmen in assists. I really don't think that's realistic and I wonder if it's because passing is neglected on wingers or just the way the atty's are used by the engine.
I have a question concerning arena construction. Is it necessary to demolish a section of the arena to build it to larger capacity. If not, is upgrades to seat capacity tied to attendance and can I expect upgrades to become available as attendance increases?
No, you have to demolish and rebuild. All the limits for each section type are listed in the help. You get a small refund for demolishing the stands.
from what i've seen, it looks about right, and granted i haven't looked at a bunch of teams. on my squad...my top 3 assist players are all D, and also high shot atty. on the top three teams in my league only have 1-2 D-men high in assists. those numbers are pretty close to what you see in the NHL, too. at least 2 high assist D-men in the top 10 of every team. now, compared to the whole NHL where you have 2 D-men in the top ten assist leaders, yeah this engine is out of whack a bit.
