2 and a spare is how I play the game. I carry 2 goalies both of whom are realistically good enough to be starters. My third goalie is not good enough to "start" but he fills in as backup when i lose a goalie to injury.
I have two bonafide #1 goalies. I have a 3rd who can play if need be but isn't as good as the other two. Any others I carry are prospects or market material. Thus at the moment I have my 2 goalies, a third, a prospect and 2 market bait.
I'm curious, what kinda attys do your 2 starters have?
thats interesting, by your experience, which performs better, and does one goalie get more pucks than the other?
4:3:2 gets more pucks. 4:3:2 played WAY better until recently as his energy now is mid-80s compared to 99 or 98 whatever the 2:1:1 is. Mind you 4:3:2 has more exp and chem...
hmm, yeah there are a lot of factors, exp and chem are obviously very big. interesting, thanks 'nucks
No problem. Exp is 40:20 and chem is 100:23 for 4:3:2 to the 2:1:1. 4:3:2 took a massive slide at the end of the season. Was at <1 GAA and >0.940 sv% but tail-spinned down the stats page. Think I deviated from 4:3:2 too much in training perhaps.
Nucks - I run my goalie 4:3:2 as well - he went to total garbage in the second half of the season as well, he went from a good lead as the league leader at the half to completely out of the statistics page by years end.
No clue what the hell happened but most of my 4:3:2 guys fell off the table and my 2:1:1 players flourished.

My staff salaries are double my squad salaries. And the devs said staff salaries don't need changing? Yeah I have a large number of staff, but the raises are more than double when they come up to renew...
I agree. But they argue that staff have a huge influence. I'm not a fan of the financial aspect of the game. $400/ticket, staff$>>>>player$ but it works. I'm sure they worked out the long-term financials and this works best once players become massively skilled in a few seasons.
Yeah, PPM screwed the pooch on that one.
They say that the player salaries will eventually increase to catch them... so why they made the game GROSSLY unrealistic with staff salaries is beyond me.

yeah...somehow the "they will catch up part" doesn't wash with staff salaries doubling at thousands per increase and player salaries doubling at hundreds per week. don't really see them catching up with each other.
