If staff member A is retiring with a daily expense of 80,000 with 22 days on his contract left- 1.8 mill left but I fire him at a cost of 900k (all examples) then Obviously its a better deal to not wait to non-renew?
Thx- was always under the assumption that it paid the full salary when firing
No. I also fired Manager and saved like 500k.
Alright, new manager here and this may have been answered but how do you change your lines from 3-3-3 to 4-4-4?
Game -> Tactics -> Rotate Three Lines (its between penalty kill and ice time percentage). Click yes for 3 lines and no for 4 lines. You can also reduce to 3 lines during the game by setting criteria to do so or to react to the other team switching to 3 lines. Both options are towards the bottom of the tactics page.
One more thing to add to what Obryantj already said, if you only set up 3 lines of players on the "Lines" page and leave the 4th line empty, you'll play with 3 lines no matter what settings you have selected on the "Tactics" page.
HI guys, i'm wondering how really can i build my team? i am the richest team in USA and one of the richest team in PPM with a nice TG AND YA and my most of my facilities are great. so i'm thinking
1. what is the best way to build my team?
should i invest into the Market or turn to Free Agency?
or Should i wait until i start getting great you pull? i mean almost my entire current squad came from YA but their development seem to be too slow and some don't live up to standards.
thanks and plz give me your tips?

I would invest more into your Training Center, Regeneration Facility, Human Resources and Economic Department, and Sports Academy. I would also upgrade all of the small stand-ups in your arena.
If you can pick up some players from the market (preferably young with good-great qualities) to fill some holes in your lineup, then you might want to do that as well.

When setting lines what stats what are the priorities? Are like off and def ratings the most important and then look at things like shooting, passing, etc? Or should I look for shooting, passing ect and then off and def ratings? also How important is technique? finally I have had a lot of penalties through two games so far, is that the aggressiveness of my players, or the gameplan and is there anyway to lower those through like training or something?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
It depends on your player position. For centers, you want offense, passing, and technique. For wingers, you want offense, shooting, technique, and aggression. For defensemen, you want defense, passing, technique, and aggression. For all skaters, you want technique at least equal to aggression (if not a little higher). Technique is important for all players, including goaltender. Finally, your players will take more penalties than other teams if you have a high aggression to technique ratio or if you play on a higher important level (e.g., playing on normal vs. very low). So, if possible, don't play guys who have low tech and high agg, and don't play higher than low or very low, whenever possible.
