Not that I know of, but make sure you read the section on "Players" in The Guide, from the Information menu. I anticipate their skills degrade to a point it no longer makes sense to retain them and you'll fire or sell them.
"Career longevity indicates for how long the player will be able to improve. Career longevity has six levels. If a player reaches the lowest level - 1/6, he stops improving and his attributes may even decrease. The speed of deterioration of attributes increases with age."

How long do the players remain "free agents" before retiring? Are these players we can find on the market?
I think essentially if someone gets bought out of a contract or if they have their contract not renewed they go onto the market, and if no one buys them they retire.
So I got a player

What do you guys think of training his offense?

He has 99 defense but bad passing - but his tech and aggression are great along with offense of 96 - I am thinking of putting in for the long haul and training his offense but I want some opinions
not a bad idea but it really depends on what else you have. Do you need a forward more than you need a D man or the money you'd get if you just train his D up a bit and sell him off?
I need a solid forward like him pretty badly - I am stacked in universal handed d-men honestly. Quite a few 6/6 still. Just more worried that I'll take all the time to train him and the guys with the real skill will have passed him by in SA pulls making him useless. Probably going to just hulk him out as a d-man and sell him like you say.
Several options. You can train him to 60+ defense then sell him as a 2:1:1 build. As you mentioned you have plenty of D-man depth. Obviously with the bundle quality for winger a 2:1:1 winger build is a real option. Your moving 2 attys along way on a 4:3:2 build at wing. 40 plus offense and 20 plus tech to get your agro in line. Level 8 training/regen would be about .70 a day gor offense and .60 or a touch better for tech on average. Didn't look at your facility levels so just basing the build on my current training rather than yours you'd need around 60 days for offense and perhaps 40 days for tech. That's no shoot added and you get a player something close to 64:48:33 for the bundle in a season.I'd say 4:3:2 is a long build to get him right. If you build 2:1:1 he should be OK in about a 70 days without touching his shot. I'd lean towards building him out to 2:1:1 defensemen then selling him if you don't need another d-man.
I've tried salvaging guys on quality of atty and using the 4:3:2 build. Long long process. Then where your other guys have gotten to in the mean time leaves him off the roster. Though 49% second atty isn't great he'd still be an exceptable defensemen build for a lot of 2:1:1 guys in division 3 and lower. Your present facility levels can lengthen or shorten training time compared to my noob facility training level.

I thought the server change was supposed to mitigate the inaccessibility after league match play. Was I mistaken?
Today access was still limited for the hour after the game, and the forums were not available either as they used to be prior to last week.
