"I believe that probably less than 5% of all managers could consistently make money from buying and selling staff year in year out, and chances are, they're the big managers who have the strongest teams."
Which is what I said from the start, the new changes makes it more profitable for teams to trade instead of winning.

True, but it's always been that way. If you look at any of the big players, most of them are successful because they trade players. Money = success.
And I have always said they should prevent that, not make it even more profitable.
on the forum it is often explained that financial management is or should be an important part of the game. The problem I find with that is that there are no real tools available to do any financial management. I'm sure many are tracking finances in seperate spreadsheets, but it would make much more sense if such financial reporting would be a PRO feature.
Basically, I'd like to see a way to compare my current revenues and spending with previous weeks/years. And it would be even better if we could project this to future revenues/spending.

Agree. And it would more logical in my eyes as well if "Week" started from Wednesday, since it's the day we get sponsors money...
And there is a problem with the week column of the financial page:
You can Never see your Weekly financial results in football because you get the incomes of Sunday match on monday ... and at that time, you have: Weekly incomes=0

1. Reduce home advantage influence.
This creates unexpected results which people moans about. If you look at league table and compare home & away statistics, it doesn't look realistic to me. Of course home advantage is important, but at the moment I think influence is a bit too much.
2. A) Increase the influence of match importance, but B) pay attention to poor energy.
Another thing people moan is that they didn't win even though they played high vs. low importance. On the other hand, some have been succesful playing whole season with high importance and been succesful even their energy was very poor.

Home advantage 25% is maybe a bit too hihg, yes.
But energy...it doesant matter if they play on VH all the time if they have strong enough team, or if they have enough players to rotate.
Energy is in my opinion taken into account even a bit too much.

1. I disagree. It looks very realistic to me.
2. it is what it is. One way or another there will be people who will moan. That cannot be avoided.

What kind of advantage is there to play "home" IRL?
You have same players with the same capacities, the sport is the same, the goal is the same ...
The only difference is: fans making big noise for you ...
If pro players aren't able to play 100% of their possibility in those conditions, they have to do another job ...

All that is true, but there obviously is big psychological advantage, judges usually give small advantage to home team also. Because humans are not robots.
If that is not true than home/away statistics for all clubs would be pretty much even, and they are far from even.

Just look at all the teams irl and see for yourself. Training on the field you play on, watering it as you want, dont have to travel before the game. Fans. Loads of stuff
Your own locker rooms... the list goes on.
But it is the fan noise and support that gives the home team an edge. It maybe psychological, but that can often be the best type of advantage.
