Back to the subject of player growth. The 160 cm player I got 15 days ago has grown twice. Using the formula we are tinkering with, he will eventually end up being 183-184 cm. Somehow that seems like way too much growth. And, that would mean growth is not linear, there is a curve. Does anyone else have information to add to this?
(NOTE: yes I know 1 player is not a concrete determination.)

I think it is linear. Curve growth would be harder to implement.
What this basically means is 1 of 2 things.
1. Every player has a starting height and a predetermined, hidden final height. The player keeps growing until he reaches it. The growth is probably linear or random.
2. Assuming the growth is linear as was thought. The rate of growth is set, taking into account how far the player needs to grow. So, a 160 player may get a high growth rate and end up 189, growing 29. While some 193 player may only grow to 207, just 14.
Both 1 and 2 are really the same if the growth is indeed linear. The only difference is option 1 allows for random growth until target height is reached.

Good thoughts. I am still tracking him and a couple of others. So...I guess we will see.
Is anyone else tracking theirs?

I had something happen that I don't understand. Can anyone help me on this?
original height 160
arrival date 2/15/2015
first growth date 2/21/2015 (6 days)
days to second growth 9
using our formula, that makes his estimated height 184 cm. All well and good.
But, then his days to third growth was 18 days. How can this be if growth is linear?

He stopped taking his HGH shots, apparently.
I think your math is off. 9 days after the first growth is March 2. It's not possible that his next growth took place 18 days later since March 20th isn't here yet.
OK. I grant that one. I think I was looking at the date of first growth...
But, that still makes his third growth date 12 days, not 9, which is still not a linear growth rate. Right?
Anyone else running into this?

I just started tracking mine so I can't say with any real certainty yet. I'll let you know if something unexpected pops up.
I am currently tracking 3 of mine. unfortunately, I did not officially record the date of his third growth. but, yeah. I started when we came up with this formula. So, I will be seeing how this works right along side of you.
