he meant the draft. better SA means more players can be scouted. in hockey for example i could have scouted them all while others only half of it.
better SA means first selections in the first draft of the season and thus better chances to get an A or A+

I was just looking at the draft page for my league. And I noticed two guys at 174 cm and projected to be a Center (#15 and #71). There is another two at 178 cm who are also projected to be a Center (#62 and #88). There are a few more that I won't hold my breath over ever reaching minimum height, but those I see as at least possible. Now, I know this is because of the underlying skill set. But...really? The program thinks these guys will grow that much? Surely there is a more realistic method of projecting the useful position of draft players...
OK. Realistic is not what I meant. I am not interested in going down that rabbit hole. This is a game, and let's leave it at that.
But, since height is a consideration for player effectiveness, height and/or projected height should be a factor in draftee position expecations.

Thumbs up.

Every time you get new players from SA, it also evaluates their possible position. I always see the same amount of stars in each position (up to 0.5 stars), regardless of the players height, skills or qualities. I suspect the player's position in the draft is assigned in the same way as those stars, i.e. randomly. I didn't check this theory, but I think you have equally good chances to find a good prospect among those whose "preferred position" doesn't fit their projected height.
In my opinion, if you have a low draft pick, it even makes more sense to scout those players(or players with 5/6 CL), since probably teams with higher picks will pass on them.

Drafting 5/6's depends on what phase of the game you're in. Right now you can probably get good use out of a 5/6 with high qualities, but eventually, no matter how great their qualities, they won't be able to improve enough to make your starting lineup before being crippled by their CL.
For example, even with 90+ in every quality, I think the only way a 15 year old 5/6 could someday start for my soccer team would be to have the longest possible time at each CL level as well as never being injured during a training camp.
Unless I've got free roster spots with nobody better to train, that's just too much of a gamble for me. You could just draft them with the purpose of selling for a little cash though.

Is it just me because my Sports Academy players are USELESS!! At highest I will pull maybe a 170 OR.
I was able to pull 300's once i hit level 12 academy. So you have a long way to go.
By the time I get there I will just be able to pull a prospect off the market.
I am confused on this player.Adrian Nicolae Robu On the market I saw a 53 AVQ. But now that I have him it shows a 75 AVQ. Which do I relay on?

To know his true AQ you need to scout him.
I know I will.... I will have to wait a while because I am scouting for the USA.
Thats how it is. On the market you might see 60%, than when he arrives to your team you will see him at 55%. Once you scout him he might be 70%.
