This last draft was probably the worst draft ever for I.1
No A's to speak of and probably the lowest number of B's I've seen.
And so far I haven't seen any decent players come out of it.
Very disappointing.

Has anyone ever done the draft live before? How did it go? Also, just wondering, but I thought I've read somewhere that there might be a gem or diamond symbol next to some players in the draft, once you scout them (or once the draft takes place). How does that work?
The live draft is anticlimactic, probably not worth attending.
Almost certainly, only B and above will amount to a player worth having.
You cannot see the diamonds, even after scouting.
A player that is a 'D' can randomly flip and be a 'diamond' instead.
But it's random and can't be predicted.

Thanks for the info! I've really found the forumites here to be quite helpful in my intro to PPM basketball.
So...I attended the draft live, and picked second. I selected my main choice, who was a B player. As soon as I click "draft," he showed on the board as a C. The next team to pick (or perhaps it was two picks later) was a defunct team, and the get the hidden gem player. Of course. lol
In our league's draft, at the top of the list is a PG named Mark Price. I almost don't care what his qualities are, I just want a PG named Mark Price!en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mar...
Oh, and another player in the draft is named Jordan Peterson . . .
