What does the future hold for PowerPlay Manager?

Hi friends, The events of the last two weeks have forced us to make major decisions, which are going to determine the future of the PowerPlay Manager project. What exactly happened? The start of the season has brought problems with server overload, which we have been fighting hard since then. Stumbling into the new season

Hi friends, Let me start with an apology for yesterday's troubles. There have been a number of outages between 6pm and 9pm CET. The server load has reached critical levels due to the fact that everybody was curious about the start of the season. We have been doing our best to solve the problems and we think we have found the problem. Gioel in particular has spent hours on the issue yesterday trying to figure this out. New season starts Monday

Hello friends, I would like to inform you that the new season starts this Monday. The calculation will start at 5.00 am CET and, as I have mentioned in one of the previous news, we will be adjusting the composition of leagues in Turkey and Other World. Due to this, and also to ensure the smooth running of the calculation, the game will be inaccessible for a certain period of time. We expect to be back online at about 12.00 CET. More news about national teams

Hi all, Due to numerous questions arising from the announcement of the national teams we have decided to bring you some more news. I mentioned that the top division will be played by the top 16 nations according to the number of hockey teams. The deadline for determining who gets in and who will play in the lower divisions will be at midnight of December 13. If your country is around the borderline it is time to get those referrals going and get inside the top 16 (or top 28 to get to into Division I). Elections

Hi friends, You have been waiting for this for a long time and here it is. I am glad to announce that as of Monday, it will be possible to sign up for candidacy for the position of general manager of national team. Anyone who has manager experience at least 51 can sign up as a candidate in any country but it is only possible to pick one country. So even if you are from a country that doesn't have a national team you can still manage a national team if the users in that country will vote for you. Plans for the next season

Hello friends, I have plenty of news to report today. As you know, the season is slowly but surely drawing to a close. There are just two more weeks left and we are planning some changes which will be applied as of next season. The most important of these changes concerns the users in Turkey and those who play in Other World leagues. Due to the large number of inactive teams we are going to reorganize the league structure in these two "countries". Team stats and a new rule

Hello friends, I will start with the problem that we had last week on Monday. Due to the unusually huge load on the server the statistical calculation had started twice and it had caused some problems. We have worked hard on fixing all these issues including finances and ultimately we have managed to get everything back to normal. This has also prompted us to take precautions and prevent the same thing from happening again. We have changed a few settings and we believe this problem will not occur again. Change of user name enabled
