Subject: NT * U17 *

Hi guys,

I'm going to start the ball rolling here. The way I see it, as soon as preparations are made the better we will be set.

This thread is open for any comment and primarily to make aware to the NT manager's any player in the U17 bracket that you think would be a worthy addition to the squad.

If I was to be voted in, I would of course be scouting around. But - if you have a young star who is currently 15/16 yrs old and *you* think he has a shot then *please* post up his Initial details here. From then I will get the scouts to him.

Hey bud,

Well, with the (U17's) a player will have to be 17yrs old or under to qualify.

So, that means that our current 16 year olds will be priority here followed by the 15yr olds.

I've had a brief scan about and it would appear that the 16yr old guys that are around (400) rating at the moment will be the most likely to get a shot. By season's end I would expect this mark to be around (440).

With the 15yr olds. Guys that make (400) by season's end or very near to it will be scouted.

Of course it's not only about rating. Quality obviously will have to be above average (at the very least) and the team's training facility will also come under the looking glass.

I must stress that the NT is not a shop window and if I am voted in, I will not allow any player to come in who is for sale. If any manager decides to sell a player whilst he's in the squad. There would be nothing I could do about that except for de-selection and making a note against the team manager to exclude any of his teams further players in the future.

Although not to be too harsh if there is good reason and the manager in question writes in and gives good reason then I would lift the 'embargo'

As it's the first season for the Juniors, I'd like to make sure that things are started properly and everyone is on the same page.

At the end of the day as other managers before me, I will be putting the effort in to scout, train, message the managers, and ploy the youngsters into some kind of cohesive unit with the intention of them going onto the next level. (U19's).
