It´s very important to emphasize that it´s not being stated that a straight relation shots / goals should prevail. There are several other factors that come to play to make this relation different across the teams (shot points, tech points, passing points on the assistance, distance of shots and others). What is being said is that this relation should be a little more stable.
I had a game very like this one. About 20 x 4 shots and 0:0 in the score. It happens, yes it does. An unlucky day for our strikers, a brilliant day on the opponents keeper, yes it´s possible. I like the new simulator in the sense that it seems to have successfully solved the possession and tactics relation to number of scoring oportunities. But we would like to see this kind of unfair (by the point of view of goals ratio on scoring oportunities) result happenning less times. Just a tiny bit less often.

Ha,ha,ha... Game engine is a complete mess. With such matches, you will not attract to play this game, but quite the contrary. I think that even the winning team manager, such a result does not give satisfaction. Question: why do teams need managers, if they are banned from the game affect the outcome? Game engine is playing with yourself. Manager needs only to play the game do not start the automatic composition. Oh yes, and even a manager can run the economic part of this game. I insist in the goals/shots ratio analysis. As an example, if there was a less random walk component into the ratio, your game would much likely end in a draw or a close score.
Like Germany - England when Sven-Göran Eriksson took over, 1-5 and how likely is that but it does happen.

I agree, i have lost 5 games, and tide 1 that i should have won easily this season.
Is this the kind of game you want PPM to be? Having 60 coaches just for making money?

Yes everyone CAN do it, but my question is, do we want a sportmanager game where the most important thing is do daytrade (actually, seasontrade) so get powerful in the game. He is the biggest team in hockey from doing the same thing, I know this is not what the devs want with the game (why else make a fee on selling many players?) but the fees are obv not good enough, this manager made 278 (!!!!) last season just by buying ridiculusly amount of couches and selling them later...
Please stop this as this is should not be the way to get succesful. We are always talking about formations that would never work in real life, why not make this part of the game more realistic also?

That could be nice idea, and should be implemented...
Yes, there should also be a penalty for having an excessive number of staff members. Over 30 soccer players = penalty. Over 20 staff members = penalty. Same basis.
