I like cKs answer best haha. But alas it was a narrow 1-0 loss. Had I had 2 of my regulars and played on normal I MAY, I MAY, have had a shot. To be honest, I was expecting more along the lines of slavko and saint2e's guess.
Crummy. I played Normal today and got beat 3-0. That's the second time I've played Normal thinking I'd have a chance at a victory, and getting beat. Not bad in the grand scheme of things.

This isn't I.1 related, but much like his hockey team, FlyingHeadz, Ariba once again is buying high priced talent on the market rather than build facilities. He has a 77M bid on a soccer CB. Guy looks great! But 77M is a lot of coin for a player. Not a young 6/6 guy either.
Agreed. He always does this in hockey though. Spends outrageous funds on a few players. Then their poor CL and his bad training catches up and he's behind again. IsaaX has the right idea. Bought core guys. Then facilities. Now he's untouchable.

I worked for IsaaX, but it's risky. It's only a valid strategy as long as it makes you win early. If you have a couple of bad lucks, you might not get promoted and without the money you're out...
I'm wondering for the long term whether what army of pretty tits (and mighytoil here) does would be better. However, army seems much lessa active now. Maybe it wasn't such a good strategy after all.
