I actually had a chance to beat Reflex 2-0 against him this season.

Canadian second-stringers played respectably in a 10 point loss to the USA, while giving the starters a breather, and bumping uo their own chemistry.
The team finished first in their division at 5-3, and will move on.

In the world cup tournament, we have made the final 16 each of the last two years. This year, we failed to do so. I know we have lost some good teams in the past calendar year. I realise that our academy draws are often less than steller. Those of us who are left will have to "up our game" if we wish to stay competitive. In division I.I, we have 9 teams who presently have national players on their team. Four teams have level 15 academies, and four teams have level 14. Of the 18 coaches, only 9 have an OR of 190 or more. I will be streamlining my budget to try and build level 15 academy and upgrade my coaching staff as soon as possible. I urge you all to do the same.
Over the next two weeks, we will be reassessing players for next season. There will be some changes. We will also continue our efforts to expand our tactics base so we are not so predictable in the big games, and continue to build team chemistry throughout the team.

Most of the team still playing the game had terrible luck.

I mean, I had TC lvl 15 for many season now, and Academy +14 too, and if you look at the whole roster of the senior team, only 1 player came from my academy, Lowe. (and he's about the leave the team too)

Also, the best player still in Canada is almost 400OR behind the best Canadian player. We are not getting good players in Canada, and when we do, they are stuck in lower tier team for too many seasons.

Still I think we have surpassed expectation. We are probably ranked 35-40 in active manager yet we are getting top 16 often with the senior team. (thanks to Hooligans)

Yes, thanks to Hooligans! In another 4-5 years, when his former players hit 0/6, and start losing OR, we may slip a little in the world rankings if nothing changes. Our present U19 group is a little short up front, and the entire group is lacking in OR. Hopefully, we will have a variety of tactics over 90%, and the understanding of how best to use them by then. Keep the faith!!
