Senior team has made it through the qualifying round and look to make the final 16.
The win today over Bosnia and Herzegovina was a good start towards qualifying. Tough game tomorrow against Hungary, then another important one against Lithuania.
A win in that game would go a long way to improving our chances.

This season, Senior Canada finishes the qualifying round as one of four teams at 8-0. Chemistry af all starters and most back-ups at 100%, and energy at 95 or more.
Despite losing our last two games by one goal and two goals respectively, we finished third in the group, and go through to the final 16. All starters and their backups are at 100% chemistry, and 90 or higher energy. Also our offensive and defensive tactics are both at 100%. Despite all this, we have a tough matchup in Poland who boasts a 146 overall team strength. We may need a little luck to get past them. Keep your fingers crossed for luck.
Well, there it is. All that manoevering and planning to put ourselves into the best possible position to succeed in the round of 16, and we draw higher ranked Poland in the first game, and lose by just 2 points. Thank you all for your support in the training of our players. Now begins the job of preparing our attack on next season's World Cup.

Poland knocks off Slovakia to advance to the semi finals against Sweden. In the other half, China meets the Czech Republic. Looks like our buzzer-beater 2 point loss was to a top four team. Small consolation, but gives us hope for next season.

Finished at 3-2 behind China and Russia. Last season we lost in the round of 16. This season, we will be in the quarter finals with a solid chance of advancing to the final 4, depending on who we draw. Most starters and backups still at 90+ energy and 100% chemistry. We have learned much in the areas of tactics, trickery, and deception this season. Good luck has favoured us as well. Tough sledding ahead.
What a nasty draw!!!!! Croatia who will be tough enough first, and then, if we get by them,probably world number one ranked China!!!!
