Well, I decided to let the vets play and they pulled off the big 4-3 win today. At one point, I had 2 goals on 19 shots while the Oranges had 3 on 5. Eff me. I also had 7 power plays to their 0. What? I had 3 PP goals, and they scored short-handed.
I don't think we'll have the energy to win game 3. Most of my starters will be down to 87=)

Wow. The Hornets killed Burton 5-1. On Low! Very nice.
The Flatulant lost 2-5 at home, but pull off the 3-1 win on the road to force a third game.
And the Boilermakers lose in a shootout! Goldfish advance to the Semis.

I don't get this... 1st game I tried everything. Best players n the ice playing high. And this game forget to change the tactics, the lines from the friendly and got this win...
Only thing I don't get, why did he play CA?
Maybe his players are really tired? Looking at the first game, he actually beat you on tactics, but only won 3-0. Second game tactics were neutral and you dominated. You said you used your friendly lines. Are they close to 100% energy?

I was surprised at how close the games were. You playing both games on low probably had a lot to do with that. Congrats on the win. By the way, do me a favor and promote this time. 
Haha I certainly plan on it. For some reason my team has a history of choking in the playoffs, but hopefully thats over with.

I replaced the 3rd line with a bunch of fresher players. The main team had 87 energy coming in, the new 3rd line was around 97. I was hoping that energy boost would make up for their lower ORs. The RW committed our only two penalties, and of course, the only goal was on the PP. I might have out-thought myself on that one=)

Burton flexes their muscles in a 7-0 thumping. BB surprisingly play on high. I think he got nervous. Nice work, pinocchio That might come back to bite him in the butt.
No upsets in round 1, but there might be some tired teams in round two. I think it's looking good for a Goldfish promotion.

Only GK's ad the first line was close to or 100% on energy.
Figured the luck would run out on Northcutt's miracle run. Just didn't think it'd be that painful.

Why do I choke EVERY SINGLE TIME in the playoffs? Its getting pretty aggravating considering that my teams been good enough to survive in I.1 for a couple seasons now.
Guess I'll be chilling with you boys another season. Possibly forever, considering I can't win a frickin playoff game.

I feel your pain Fish, been trying to move up to II 2 for several seasons!! And I keep falling short, I am in the Finals again this season, and I bet I fall short again. Take heart though, you are not the only Susan Lucci.
