Phillip Hoover and Graham Boston would have been interesting to me but it looks like they're both still on their original team. Anyone know why some teams folded up and some are still alive?
Yeah I didn't have a clue as I'm not on much at work. Even if I got a bunch of guys the whole situation would still piss me off and I wish they corrected it. But they won't do anything.
I thought they would only "fold" when they got down to league III and were re-no-named. Well league III in the us anyhow.
If I were the devs I'd pull the players back and put the money back. Its just too drastic and broken of a happening.
I'm guessing they have staggered them slightly. For the most part they seem to be going this week, large bulk yesterday, more today, tomorrow, and so on. Not sure, though?
Also, it looks like they are not selling off all the teams at once, it's a slow cycle, like the Wild's 250 plus players are up now. Not sure if the already defunct team players will eventually get sold or not.
The worst part is what it does to the overall economy. I mean a 350 OR last week would have sold for 20M, yesterday guys went for 10k, later this, not sure how much?
The guys that got players were just being smart, not their fault, but if the market comes back... lets say someone bought 40 players, in 50 days they sell them all, even if they average only 2M per player, thats a free 80M. Thats a huge advantage.

Looks like 7 days for all of them that I have found, they are not all starting at the same time.
We're into the thousands of players at this point. I'm with opivy. Cancel all sold and future sales of these players until a better system can be figured out.
I thought, like opivy, those players would go from the team when they went down to the lowest division, who knows?
Last season people whined because they wanted the players from these defunct teams. Now it's "killing the market"
And i thought the devs were supposed to be the "shortsighted" ones

not sure who wanted the players, but my problem isn't with the players, it's the way they're being sold.
You can't flood them all at the same time - it is the way the game was said to be setup, but the implementation is poorly put into place.
Really - how hard would it be to just put the question out to the players how would they like to see it managed - a simple way would be to do it by date of team going defunct, but mass times where no one has the ability to "bid" and people are getting players a cut throat prices is unfair to the way that others managed their finances. I am personally in a great spot to grab them up but I just don't think that its a good way to manage the system.
