shit. well, after today's 2-3-1 record the US stands to only have 4 teams in the tournaments next year instead of 6...

The good news is that Romania, who is right above us, have 2 teams playing 2 US teams: High Hitterz and Vowel-boy.

I will win in a blowout without a doubt, so we can overcome them if we get good results from those 2.

I hate that we have an inactive and the Red Wings are performing horribly.

And does it help us if I advance only to lose in the next round, or is it better for us if I don't make it?

Right now, I still need help, being 1 point behind the other 2. Funny how I have the same record as you and am on the outside looking in while you are safe.

Considering the last 2 years our 6th team has been un-manned, maybe going down to 4 will not hurt, get our 4 best teams in there and bring us back up next season.

I think it's wholly based on the number of points your teams earn in the regular 'season' of the tournament - I don't think earning anything in the playoffs helps us at all.
I tied this week to someone who played higher intensity than me and lost last week due mainly to camp so I'm hoping I can win out...we'll see how it goes.

I won so I am happy about that but once again my goalie has a horrible game. As always I outshoot my opponent by a crapload and my goalie still allows 4 goals on 15 shots. I actually think it was was 3 goals off of 8 shots at one point in time. I will never understand why my goalie sucks so bad when I outshoot my opponent by so much. Does anybody else seem to have this problem?

what are his attributes? He should have plenty of EXP with being your starter for 3 seasons, so its not that.

my goalie has been doing that lately at 2:1:1, I am getting him back to 4,3,2 where he was a beast. (3 being tech)

lol - mine was great at 2-1-1 and has been screwing up when it goes off that ratio

well, after Friday's loss the Jaguars have been eliminated from the playoffs. Not a big surprise there but they are the first ones out of the dance...

Beat up on Capitol Hill today, but I've got a nice tough stretch coming up with my next 8 games against the #2 Psychos, #3 Africville Sea-Sides, #6 N.©.New York Hellraisers, #4 Americans, #5 Swamp Foxes, #11 Philadelphia WarMachine, #7 High Hitterz and #8 Miami Rage in that order. Since I'm playing all the current playoff teams in a row I'm guessing there's a good chance at least 1 of those is a playoff round-one preview...

Well, I have survived (mostly) playing with many of my regular players in camp for the past week. 2 wins and whatever happens today. Full points today would be gravy at this point. Too bad they couldn't hold up in the National Cup though.

Boy, Yetis... sorry about that one. You dominated from pillar to post. My keeper doesn't look like much but he's a crafty old veteran at 23, and just finds a way to get it done. There's a little John Vanbiesbrouck in him. Fun game though, crazy.

Yeah, it was a barrage... the kicker has to be that he was the offensive star as well, he started the play that resulted in the only goal and got an assist.
