Don't know what to say. After i beat the strongest team in the world, today i eliminated in CL the 2nd strongest team in the world. Incredible.

Never seen a player sold for almost a billion. Crazy to think how much money some teams in Europe have. Atis Neļķēns
The fact that he is 17 is what makes it really crazy. If his CL drops early, he may never even be a starter!
For a little more evidence of why spending so much on youth is crazy, I just picked up Gustavs Vārna for 40.7 million. He's got 2736 OR and 300 exp, and I can expect 4-5 good seasons out of him even if he drops to 0/6 in a few days.
I can pick up 22 more players like that for the price of Atis Neļķēns , and they would all be ready to play right now, not in 8 seasons (maybe, if even then).

Very true. I have picked up a few older players for not bad prices and they are playing right now.
Also if you have a strong team and buy a talented young buck he won't be getting any experience sitting on the bench. I see a bunch of players that are older than 20 and have less than 10 experience.
I have a few young players and to get them exp. I have them all play in my friendly games or national team games if I am lucky.
I was 2 minutes too late to bid on Glass. I would have been willing to bid more than the winning bid. I suppose I'll have money to bid on some of the other players in 3 weeks instead.
Looking for other managers for friendlies. My last friendly with Montana Miners drew over 12,000. I will stop accepting foreign friendlies if you guys want to get on the Calendar......I would rather help American Managers if possible. Also, have some great youth on the market and a future goalie superstar, take a look if interested. Good luck in the upcoming playoffs!
Just pick a date you want and I will accept if open.
It seems I managed to remain in I.1 for another season. I'm finally going to sell off most of my remaining foreign players and go all in with players from my sports academy. I'll be losing my 2nd and 3rd line defense, 2/3 of my first line offense, and my 3rd line center. My backup goaltender (who was my starter since season 9 in division III) and my first line LW (one of my best players; I don't have enough replacements at LW) will remain for now. I also have a NT caliber Latvian center prospect and an elite NT caliber Brazillian center prospect (now a starter).
My remaining players should be good enough to compete for the top 16 next season and be very competitive against most teams in 2-3 seasons.
I suppose most of my money for now on will go to saving money to retain free agents (luckily I don't have a lot of my top players grouped into any one age group). I have 2-3 seasons before I have to start worrying too much about that.
