Hmm - can we catch the RED WINGS? We play them next, with a win we're within 5. Then they play the Rage, Philadelphia and the High Hitterz, none of which are easy and all fighting for playoffs/placement.

I have the Psychos, Michigan and Capitol Hill with only 1 being a should-be win (as much as that is possible in this league).

I'm coming on strong and he is faltering just a bit...
should be interesting.

(and this will be the rematch of when I spotted him a 5 goal lead and came back to tie)

My magic number is now 2. Two more win and I should be able to make the playoffs for the first time ever.

fun times. We're limping to the line a bit here - but Cody William should be back before playoff game 1 and we'll hopefully not have as many chemistry issues then...

Even though I could end up as 4th or 5th I'm not happy w/ this season I definitely fell from my 2nd place performance last season, but Rickie Phillips isn't even good and he's dominating :O

The Americans (56 pts) have matches left against the Michigan Hawks, Capitol Hill, the Psychos and me. The High Hitterz (54 pts) have the STL Saints, the Wiggly Pigs, the RED WINGS and the Michigan Hawks - slightly easier I think but still rough. the Vowelrifics (also 54 pts) have SKP Xivam, the Mountaineers, Africville Sea-Sides and Midwest K-aos so as of now they have the inside track to slot #8...
should be an interesting finish!

It should definitely be an interesting race to the playoffs! It's also still possible for STL and/or Capital Hill to be eliminated as well. It's just not as likely especially with STL's schedule. No matter how it finishes up we're guaranteed to have 8 great teams in the playoffs which should be quite interesting as well.

What in the world?! This time I give up a 3-0 lead 22 minutes into the game, and come back and score the tying goal with 1:09 left in regulation to draw the Wings yet again LOL

I almost tied again - all of a sudden line 1 can't find the net with a damn map. It's ironic that having a guy on line 2 get injured has caused line 1 to stop scoring...

Man, you blew my Saints away, Blackkat. And when I set up the lines yesterday, I kinda expected you to go the Active Forecheck so I set up the tactics that way. Then this morning I had a few doubts and didn' t know what to do so I went High-Normal. Should have trusted my instincts.

Well, well, well, things are getting really interesting now. Yes, I do have an easier schedule than Americans and Capitol Hill (they also play each other, hoping for a tie) but I still have to win the games.
Essentially, my playoffs are already in the second round. I better not miss the cut this year.

Damn thought the saints would come back but I came out on top

coming down to the wire with slots 6,7 and 8 - Capitol Hill looks to finish with at least 65 and maybe 68 depending on if they can beat the Foxes (who haven't gotten anything left to play for). The Vowelrifics have the Sea-Sides and Midwest K-aos left and have a good chance to win both to put them at 66 and the Saints have the Falcons and XIVAM left which should put them also at 66, so the Hitterz need to beat the RED WINGS to sneak in and the Americans need to be the Psychos and me and hope for an upset. Should be some compelling hockey left next week!
