Absolutly true Without good marketing managers the sponsor offers will be much more badly. And the weaker team will reach lower OTR. The lower OTR brings worse sponsor offers...

It's true too. The construction of the stadium should start at the beginning of the season. And the 10000 stands/sector is the best choice.

As Crico says, your sponsorships have room to grow. Good HR managers and HR facility makes a big difference.

Yet for me, I make more from my stadium than my sponsors, even though my stadium is only about halfway there.

It's true though, that my team is weaker than yours. But my salary costs are also less. I got a 115mil 5star offer, with a 9th place finish, lvl 12 HR, and 73% marketing managers.

With 48000 stands, I was still getting more from ticket sales (not to mention 70mil media offer).

The new players coming from league II seem quite competitive, so dumping your starters might get some challenges from them. When I was finishing 10-12th spot, my offers were about 20-30mil less. (85-95 mil)

I don't know what your 5th place offers are like. You might also want to ask Highland Terriers what their offers are like (similar position to you, but better HR). Each level of HR should boost base offers 3% (and managers add a big boost).

Another thing is if you are comfortable sitting lower in the league for a while. Stadium upgrades are expensive! The absolute worst thing would be to lose another team (remember SF-Maranello after we merged?)!

We went through this issue couple of seasons back with Malikas, now our league is too small to get decent bunch of money. We gettin around 8-12 Mil. while other leagues gettin 15-20M per week and that is huge difference.
Stadium is a better option in my eyes, it gives u about 20-22M within 2 weeks, unfortunately it has two issues. First, it takes time to build three floor multi and it costs fortune. I've done that myself. And I never regret that. What I do say - it is long run.

Still, before I would start to build, I would increase my HR single lvl up and I have couple of decent managers to increase my income like crico wrote here. Then I would start to build up stadium as there is no point wasting $$ and time and doing it one by one..

One problem I face is that the lvl 100/100 staff members are to expensive.

Yeah I know. But you have no managers right now! You should get two. Even getting weaker ones will have a benefit. My marketing efficiency is 72% average. So I get almost 3/4ths of the benefit for about a third of the cost! 40-50k daily salary each instead of around 150k salary for 100/100...

For me, this adds 10mil to the cost, but is worth it in higher offers (also, scouting is important to me for the Aussie NT).

Also, if scouting is useless for you, try buy managers with higher marketing in mid-season, to save on paying their salary so long. If you wait too late in the season, the prices get too high though!

And if 70-80 level marketing is too expensive, two 50 lvl marketing should be around 10-15k salary each, for about half the benefit!

It's true. But you don't have to keep them for a long time. Try to buy managers with short contract and after the sponsor offers kick them out.

Or second option: buy 2 managers with 70-80 marketing skills at least. Those are not so expensive.

Hmm, I could do what Knights did a few seasons back and keep a few good players. Buying managers at 100/100 at end of season is really expensive, like up to 20mil.

I like the Arsenal approach of being content with 4th each season

It's absolutly true. That is why I wrote, buy managers with lower marketing skill. But you have to build the HR!

The best is to grown your own, u can train just one ability instead of both and that keeps it steadily around 100k.
Or buy one, just kicking them out is not the best option as they do cost a lot most of the time.

Get member 20/80+
and in the meanwhile get your own!
Even if he is low OR and low stars he will still get decently up.

Btw: paying only 200k extra fee for players...planning to sell some of those anyway..
