haha - i miscalculated a win is 3 points not 2 as in hockey CL.
So he beats me on points after all.
hmm why is hockey cl wins only 2 points but a win in both hockey and soccer leagues and soccer CL are 3?

PPM Hockey CL is the same points system as the FIFA Champions League fules, so 2pts for a win. PPM League use IIHF hockey rules, which are 3 points for a win. FIFA rules are 3 pts for a win, so PPM soccer league are that way.

i dont understand FIFA champions league rules are 2pts for a win, so thats whats hockeys based on but not soccer? I thought fifa was a soccer body?
Oops my bad. I meant i think the hockey CL is based on international type tournaments (olympics, etc) and I think they use 2 points for those types of knock-out tournys.
i won my first two matches and drew the third as was lookigg really good but then couldnt score a goal in the next three so didnt really deserve to make it.
