happy to finally have a player getting a rating of 10 aswell! I have about 5 other players very close to his skill level and just a wee bit less energy so i am expecting the whole team to jump from a 9 to a 10 in coming games...

got a tough last match for the champions league, a draw will be fine but if i lose im out! how are you guys placed?

I'm in third, playing the team in 2nd for my last match, so... if i win, i take his spot and continue, if i lose, i'm out. I may have to roll the higher importance for the match to ensure a victory.

yea i agree, energy use is definitely warranted i feel

after losing my last two games i dropped from comfortably in to needing to win my last game to assure a spot.

Just played the last placed guy and after him playing on low for both the other teams he decided to play on high against me. Go figure.

Currently in 2nd - playing 3rd on even points though i have a better differential. Last is only 1 point behind though so a draw doesnt necessarily do it. 3rd will play on high again though guess i will be playing high too.

I would be feeling much better if i'd not tied with Colah Creek last night. LOL

third place, 6pts (2 wins) back from first... pretty happy with that actually. My boys will need to ensure they beat both Otago and the Spitfires if they want to make a true run for the top spot though, and that's never an easy task.

I see Doherty is tied with my boy Hartge for top scorer, too, so I need to have a few words with Hartge about lighting up the net a bit more. LOL

Haven't lost yet but a few draws I should have won... that happens however. Key games against you and Spitfires for sure, would normally say they should decide the title but the other teams are showing they can compete at the moment!
Really feeling the lack of money this season... trying to do lots of different things and need to strengthen the squad in a few areas too.

First will be on 9 after losing to 4th. 4th moves to 8 points. I (2nd) played out a 0:0 draw with 3rd and we will both move to 8 points as well.

So that leaves three teams on 8.
Me 2W, 2T, 2L 3GF, 3GA, 0GD
Was 3rd 2W, 2T, 2L 4GF, 6GA, -2GD
Was 4th 3W, 0T, 3L 3GF. 3GA 0GD

Anyone know what the tiebreak is? Pretty sure i beat the guy who was third on GD, though he has scored more goals. But the guy who was 4th has same GD and more wins. Does that put him through. We both played 0:1 wins away against each other. The only thing i beat him in is OTR.

In soccer i think GD is the first factor in draws.

I believe PPM use the FIFA rules, which i think are:

The ranking of each team in each group will be determined as follows:

a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
b) goal difference in all group matches;
c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.

If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their rankings will be determined as follows:
a) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned;
b) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned;
c) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams concerned

lol all of those are equal im pretty sure.

1a) 8 points each
1b) 0 GD each
1c) 3 GF each

2a) 2 points each - both won 0:1 away against each other
2b) 0 GD each when playing each other
2c) 1 GF each when playing each other

So whats next?

Well, in FIFA i think after that it goes to the FIFA review board. LOL
