Sorry, I haven't been paying attention to the thread much lately. I can send you any information you need on my players (Salmon and Lowery). I don't think anybody else in my current pipeline is going to pan out enough to make the U18, although Sean Breeden and Charles Hynes will be borderline by their quality and they'll both be in the mid 500's OR by the end of the season, so they might be worth having in the database.
Let me know if you want me to mail you any of their info.

I could use the scouting information for those 4 players.
Those 4 players will probably have a pretty good chance depending on their qualities. Hutton will also have a decent chance - the OR threshold for defensemen tends to be lower (though he wouldn't t have the best EQ on the team).
Generally, 900 OR is usually enough to make the team if the player is trained well (except in the case of centers). 800 is the minimum unless there is a lack of depth at a position. Gilliam probably won't make the team, but he'll get some consideration.

I have Lowery and Salmon covered now that I've heard from their manager.
What league are the Bombsville Atomics in so I can look at trying to help pick up their players
Are you all set for player scouting? Need any more scouted?
I'm all set now - thank you for all of your help!
ill try to pick up a few bombsville guys. will stay away from the 16-19 guys since I don't have training facilities but if I need to ill pitch in and then ill try to re sell them after 50 days. Since i only have t5 training facilities.
Honestly, as a NT manager, I should say that it would help the national teams more if managers with level 14-15 training/regeneration and good staff picked up those players.
If a player is on a national team when their team folds, then the player automatically goes on the market. If the player get at least one bid (and all of them already have bids) then the player will go to a new team and be saved from being lost with the team that folded.
On the other hand, if you did get a player, the player would probably become a star player for your team immediately (though it would cost money that could be spent on the arena/HRE). Just keep in mind that you will be bidding against other managers with a lot of money (and nothing to spend on outside of the market) who are partially valuing the player for future potential that the player wouldn't be able to realize on your team.
Only a few of them probably have a future with the senior team. Those player especially need to end up on a team with good facilities, even a foreign team. I can't speak for captainp7G, but I would consider the following as serious future candidates for the senior team:
1) Newcomb (if the senior manager is willing to try using a player trained like he is)
2) Cosby (he is good enough, but he might hit his peak while a comparable older player remains effective)
3) Burkhart
4) Kearney
5) Skutt (a good goaltender, though me might get stuck behind the older Kearney)
6) Knight
The players with qualities in the 80's-90's and 900+ OR at 18 or he were or will be at 900+ OR at 18 assuming a gain of at least 200 OR per season are also among the more promising players.

I was just saying i'd help save them if need be. I understand my facilities need a lot of work. I'm also in d2 and wanting to put up some decent games after being demolished in my first two games conceding 19 points in total. and that's with a pretty decent goalie for d2. Yes I know I should be focusing more on upgrading stands and all that, but I don't like getting demolished like that and want to stay in d2. So I'm trying to get a new first line center and right winger and then filling out my second line. I am looking at picking up some older players but even then I haven't had luck since guys are dropping nearly 10 mil on some guys. So I'll try to let the Bombsville guys get picked up by guys with better facilities. Just trying to scrape by right now.
Try to focus on players in their 30's or with CL at 0 or 1 for a discount. Players above or approaching 2,000 will also cost substantially more.
Players with substantial experience (200+) will be much stronger. A well-trained/highly experience player with 1300 can be very effective.
Make sure that they are trained well (generally 2:1:1 for attributes identified as important for the position in the guide and ~75% or more for shooting for forwards).
Goaltenders will help your team the most (they count for 1/4 of your team strength). After that, defensemen might be the most effective, though one or two snipers would also help. Just keep an eye on the salaries that these players will earn.

yea I set my search for players with salaries under 25000.
I finally finished evaluating the depth available and finalizing the roster. The depth is really good this season. All players outside of the players at one position and one other have 900+ OR. In the past I've been lucky to get a roster of 800+ OR players with a few 900+ OR players. There are 5 1,000-1,1000 OR players and one 1,108 OR player who should be among the best of all the 18 year olds from all countries this season.
3 of the best 7 players on the team are LW's. RD depth is also especially strong this season. C depth is strong as usual. RW depth is very good. Tate Skutt could be almost as good as Kearney/Dowell if he ends up on a good team. If he doesn't the U.S. should still have 2-3 pretty good goaltenders. Only one 18 year old LD made the team. The rest of the LD's are 17 year olds and UD's.
Next year's first line currently looks like it will comprise of Peak (LW - Momentum), Dickinson (C - Montana Miners), Gamble (RW - Razorback Thugs), Castillo (D - Detroit Red Wings), Carroll (D - Detroit Red Wings), and Chambers (G - originally Rochester Americans). 5/6 of them should be over 1,000 OR by next season.
I've used most of my spare space up already adding players from the Bombsville Atomics. I don't plan to add 16 year olds this season, though I have a good idea of the 16 year old depth available, lead by 689 OR 16 year old Lynn Pace. I might consider adding another offensive defenseman to the roster since the defense is more defense oriented this season at this point.

Well it depends on there training yeah these 6 have the best shots.
Hey everyone... now that I'm in I.1, and my facilities are nearing max, I suppose I should start contributing. Please let me know what I can do to help. Thanks!
