Match importance seems to have very high (too high) influence on goalies. I'm playing low importance in league and my goalie's performances fluctuate wildly from 70% to 100%. I understand that bad day can happen, but fluctuation is too strong.
My 2nd goalie is playing CWC matches on normal importance and his performances seem to be quite more steday and the average is better than the average of better goalie in league.

How many shots is your first GK facing in each league game, and how many shots is your 2nd GK facing in CWC games?
My bet is that your 2nd GK is facing more shots on average per game, therefore has a higher save rate, if he aint letting everything past him.
Main reason is probably the level of opponents in your league are far less than those in the CWC group.

Well, the average level of opponents in my league is pretty high. My 1st goalie has an average of 25.15 shots against per 60 minutes in league. My second goalie has an average of 27.78 shots per 60 minutes in CWC. So the difference is very small.

I know there are worse games, and it's unbelievable that they do exist.

Since we are not yet in a position of convincing referees, let just hope that those 2 points won't be crucial for getting to top 2 teams in table.
If I do find those refs I'm counting on you and Misko to go pay them a "house call" for me!
