3 seasons in division II and now in top division. Sure is something you can cheer for. You managed to give them a lift last season ?

1st season I managed that, then dropped down, stayed there a season, new coach took over and promoted, and now again, he's got more luck than me

My team often loses games of this kind, I dont understand why.

My team's strength is in French top 5-6 since several seasons, also my average OR is.

Last season I was relegated down from LI to LII.
1st half of S7 was only 4wins for 19 matches and 13points...
2nd half of S7 gave 35 points with out changing anything to my teams, players... against same opponents...

This season seems to be the same, with loses against teams I dominate and I am supposed to beat...
So I dont understand what's happening
Is there a kind of hidden team confidence or something ?

There is nothing wrong with that result.

Sure, it sucks to lose like that, but he played 4 lines so his in game energy is going to give him an advantage, plus, the 2 teams are actually a lot more even than the numbers may suggest.

You played best tactic and had home advantage, so you should have possibly done better, but the result really isn't all that terrible or unrealistic.

I agree with you when you talk of 1 game out of 38 of a season.
I think results of this kind occurs far too often
Maybe 1 or 2 in a season should be ok, nearly one per week, at least, is too much
My team lost 8-9 times this way in Regular season 7 ( /38 games ) and alreday twice this season (on 9 games), while dominating and having better line forces
So, my team lose 1 game out of 4.5 this way, it seems bad to me

If it were a blowout against a far weaker team i would agree, but the 2 teams were not much different in team strength. Sure one was stronger, but not hugely. That game, in NHL terms would be like the Canucks playing the Oilers. Sure the Canucks are better on paper, but the Oilers are still going to win probably 1 out of every 4 or so matches they play.
