Yes, it was mentioned that this ratio is the main factor for penalties, I can't remember where I read it, but I know I did. It was also mentioned that before or later all managers would find out the "perfect ratio" for tech/aggr and train players in that ratio to reduce the penalties. So they didn't put a fixed ratio, but instead penalties are calculated based on your ratio vs. your opponents.
As I said, I believe tactics also have a small influence on this, for example I tend to have more penalties when playing on high importance. Also, the type of tactics can also be a factor sometimes, but it has to coincide with your opponents tactics to be of any importance (for example when playing defensive tactics vs. pressing, if you have lower ratio you will have 4+ penalties almost always). But these things aren't proven to be true, so it's only my speculation based on my games played. Probably there are more examples, but I didn't keep track of it, so I can't tell you for sure...
sorry for being so long getting back to you on this vlady.
yes. i am positive about what i am saying. it happened to day, as a matter of fact. my game settings are default, meaning I have not set my own time zone. When the announcement shows up on my calendar, it says game time is 18:00. but, the game has been starting at 18:30 for some time now.
Have you guys notice that OTR gained from the win seems to be related to your overall OTR (higher overall OTR equals less OTR points from the win)? I also think that OTR change was just fine-tuned after 19 rounds because I got about 20% less OTR than early this season. Or could OTR change be related to your opponent's stats/standing/OTR?
that just doesnt make any sense. you are the only one to report something like this. did you actually tune in at 18:00 and the game started at 18:30? Does this always happen to you? I really cant wrap my head around it.
i know it has happened that the live broadcast is announced for 18:00 and the actual game has started at 11:15, the counter for game start time was still going. let me try to get some screen shots and i'll shoot them to you...or apologize with red face for some idiocy on my part.
Do you have a laptop? If you close it while still logged in, the countdown to the next game stops. If it's closed for 15 minutes, then you'd have to wait an extra 15 minutes for the LIVE button to appear. Refreshing the page fixes the clock and the game starts at 18:00 like normal.
