make it available for everyone or close the market (I suggest closing the market, but that's probably too much work)

...or simply program it that NO player can have deadline between 17 and 18:05h at time someone is putting him on TL

on example: when putting on TL on 17:25 - PPM makes the deadline 17:00h, or when putting on 17:45 - PPM makes the deadline 18:30 or something like that and not 1745 or 1725.

If we lock deadline when putting on TL on 17h - then probably all bids will be over till 1715 when "lockdown" starts (from 17 till 1715 there will be only last minute bids that makes deadline longer)

i think freezing the market wouldn't be too difficult to program. All clocks stop with the lockout, then extend deadlines by the frozen time and restart the clocks at thaw.

Only Pro Pack owners can sell players at that time.

that's not true,
you and I (everybody) can send player to market at 17:10, any day
there'll be a bidwar, deadline goes to 17:18, and only pro pack can buy that playar

Well, I say people need to not whine.

Propack owners need some sort of advantage.

But it was said that propack owners don't have any advantage it the game itsself. Being able to buy players and staff members while all the others aren't able is such an advantage!

From the description page for the PRO pack: "The PRO pack is an optional element which does not give any direct advantages to its owner but it helps manage the team in a more efficient way and therefore also improve the team's results."

Because of this, PPM (and H A who has the same stipulation) has a much broader user base then some site like T H for example. I think many non-PRO would leave if they felt PRO pack users were being given an advantage which is why this is a sticking point.

Beyond simple advantages, it is a slippery slope towards: "Manager X buys new fancy super-sticks for his team for 200 Euros!"

right, no advantages for pro-pack owners...

it's not something that makes your PPM life easier hé, it's an advantage (in contrast with multiple tactics, which makes PPM life easier, so do extra statisitics)

Exactly what I think.

Being able to sell during that period is not an advantage because there is a minimum 2 day listing period. Being able to buy is an in game advantage.

I scan the markets all the time and I have NEVER seen this so-called discount you speak of. So, i'm not entirely sure what you are talking about.

For example today there was a quality player I was in a bidding war for. He was less than half of what i would have paid for him, then I was locked out and he was picked up for a song by a pro pack holder. The auction was done before I could get access.

I've seen that happen almost on an hourly basis, it just happens that in this case it happened during the lock-down period.

The fact is, the pro-pack members are helping pay for the hosting, programming of this game. We are financially supporting it, so a little perk here and there is not such a bad thing IMHO. I do totally understand what you mean, but at the same time, there's nothing stopping people from upgrading to pro themselves
