That is exactly what I did and recommend. Large standup (max) to TFM (min). Then upgrade to TFM (max) once all are TFM (min).

But yeah, as far as skyboxes go... It's a nice bonus revenue in the long term, but it won't pay for itself for quite a while so it shouldn't be seen as a priority.

Skybox revenue are lower for single floors than doubled and triples. For a single floor.. it might be around 100k per week? Not very meaningful.

I personally built two DFMs, but I later felt that was a bit of a mistake.

My personal opinion is that anything between 250 seats and triple floor 1000 seats is a complete waste of time and money because they have to be demolished to build a larger capacity. You get only half the money back, and none of the time.

Keep him. His OR is too low to attract real attention off the market but his numbers are very nice. On your team he will be a future staple.

Hmmm. Idk.. OR is low, but it's the beginning of the season. On a top team, he could develop into a good player.

The thing is, unless you have top facilities, the value of a player goes down everyday he is not being developed optimally. So as a rule of thumb, I would say to sell a player and use that money to make your facilities better so that you can one day keep and develop your own players.

I don't know how much money he could fetch on the market though... We would need more GMs opinions on this.

I once fetched 79M for a player that probably didn't have much more OR than this one (the information is not available so I base this on memory). However, his Q's were higher than this player's, so i wouldn't expect this kind of money...

I can imagine he could fetch 7-8 millions today.

If you keep him, his value on the market will go down because your facilities are not yet where they need to be to develop players to their full potential.

Up to you to decide.. if you decide to sell, remember this:

-Sell on a Wednesday or a Thursday. Friday can be ok too. These are the first days of the week when people have money to spend.

- put him on the market for 7 days. Any worthwhile young player need to be out on ahead of time to give time to managers to scout the player. During this time, the player will be seen by potential buyers and you have better odds of generating a buzz.

- make sure the deadline hits around 13o'clock EST. This is the time of peak usage by GMs and the best players tend to be available around that time.

He's now 1836 OR at 23 with a CL of 4, which is, eh, about even to Gregoire who has less CL at the same age (whom I just sold for like 6M *sighs*).

He only played his last seasons with the U18 and U20 NT, despite his main qualities being 99, 93, 92, 97.

Starting OR does make a good difference in that regard. And I'm pretty sure Aiken was 300+ at the start.

Even on the best team for training, Miller's effective quality average is about 85%, which means about +1.6 OR/day (+ 2 weeks of about double training) so let's simplify 126 * 1.6 = 220 OR for his first 1-2 seasons, at best. At 17, this guy is then around 700 OR. That's not enough to consider him for the U18.

If his CL holds, he may hang in there and make it to the U20. Maybe. Considering the way some people are training their talents and the fact teams with lvl 3 training facilities buy good propspects for 60M nowadays, it definitely could happen, if he doesn't get lost somewhere along the way himself.

I also doubt he will make the NTs because there is not enough time to make up for the low OR (unless we are weak in that position), but I still think he is a legit prospect to become a solid player down the line. So I could see a team lining up to get him. Personally, I would probably bid up to 7-8 millions for a player like him, which is why I suggested this number.

I think that 7-8 million is high but you might get lucky in a bidding war. I think more likely is 3-4. That might seem like good money to you but down the road you will see that it is quite small. I agree that he will never reach any form of potential on your team because of your facilities but the problem is the return on investment for selling. My guy Mitch Larocque came in with an OR of around 300 in the same draft back in season in 21. He numbers are outstanding - 606(99), 509(99), 303(98), 303(69) for an OR of 1836 with a CL of 3 on a winger. For me he is an affordable guy to resign (Canadian) with solid if unspectacular skills that will never be a superstar in this league. Had I given him up I would have gotten similar money so that he could have gone to some much better team than mine and developed into something better. Your next training facility is $21M and $8M for your boy is only a third of the way there. I wasted a credit and nicknamed Mitch "the Bitch" and have never regretted squandering it to this day...

I was merely making the point that there would be no guilt in keeping this guy, since he would not be wasted talent on a team without optimal facilities.

I mean, my team saw its share of prospects that were not awesome or NT material at all but were staples for me.

Tom Tardif was an example. 69 avg Q, was my main goalie for like 10 seasons.

I have Efren Farrow in mind but that was handball, err. Evan Harvey. That was it. Had those qualities. 99/70/82/91. Was my best goal scorer for the longest time.

I hall of famed each one of them with my cookie/egg/holiday hunt credits. They made that much of an impact!

If you look at the market right now, for 72+ AvgQ 6/6 15yo with 275-300 OR, they are all selling for 10k (except the nearest one to completion who is at 200k 8 hours out). You may get 2-3M if you're lucky, but these kinda players are dime-a-dozen, and tend to get lost in the shuffle.
