3 out of 4 have some way here.
I got one that seems to be kind of something, 76%, shame he is only 5/6 and 186 Dman. The other two are almost 3rd line candidates (50% + 220, 6/6) but... bah! I´ll send them all to the market.

The two guys I didn't sign:

104 OR, 23 Def (I haven't seen one that low in a while)

138 OR, 10 Goa, 15 Def, 18 Off

WOAH! They sure weren't kidding when they said they were going to change the way defensemen salary would be calculated! I have a long time player hanging around as roster fill. He was scheduled to sign new contract going from 892 to around 1200 tonight. Now there are changes and he's going to cost 5529!!!! This guy is one of the lowest primary stat players I've kept around (other than some new trainees). Given this new wage I fear to see what my real defenders are going to cost me when they sign new contracts!!!
Actually, upon writing this I think I'll kvetch about it over in reporting bugs too to have them verify the new formula is working as intended.

yeah i had a guy who was supposed to get 800, got 2000 instead. made me wonder if they really got rid of the foreigner penalty

Yucko, the guy I mentioned is actually a USA born player. With a primary skill of only 65 costing over 5500 this is really going to change the economy.

umm...wait...did they adjust existing salaries? i thought they only adjusted when a contract comes due...

No current salaries are unaffected. I just happen to have a guy sign a new contract today and the effect was HUGE. Here's what the release says about it:

"During the analysis we have also discovered that the salaries of defensemen have not been calculated as intended. Therefore we have decided to change this formula. However, these changes will have the opposite effect now. You may notice next time you sign a new contract with a player that his salary has grown more than usual but in the future it should grow slower than it would be with the current formula. The overall effect in the long run will cause the expenses on player salaries to go down. The current contracts with players will be unaffected by this change."

@Eeoulo: i read that. thought it sounded like they are brining regular salaries inline with the over-inflated foreign salaries...or trying to.

@nsb: that sounds wierd. resign? like when you have contracts set not to renew or he "refused" the new contract and is no longer playing?
