Looks like I'm out of the running. Good job mikpj at keeping foreign investors out. As much as I think you DON'T need him, I'd love for him to stay in Canada.

to be perfectly honest, i doubt he can catch up to top tier players even after a decade in ppm..
I disagree. I signed some really low OR and ~70 AQ guys back a few seasons ago. They were around 100OR below my stud forwards. They are now only around 10-20OR out after 1-2 seasons of steady level 10+ training. Give him 4-5 seasons tops and he'll be a superstar. No doubt.
well, it seems like 450 is the average OR in team Canada. Paes is at like what? 150? That's like what? 300 OR off? I sense a 6 seasons at least just to catch up OR wise, and he'll still lack experience. And then we have to keep in mind that vast majority of players on team Canada has high qualities as well, meaning few more seasons after the 6th one to actually be on the same tier as the top Canadian players. I don't doubt that Paes won't be a superstar, i just don't see him making team Canada ever.. As always, i could be wrong 
Ya he's a ways away. But the other guys are slowly losing CL. He is 15 and 6/6 and hopefully on the longest career path. Will be a project for sure. But I'd trade my C1 for him any day.
Don't forget players are still young. Paes will also slow down. And some other young stud will come by. Look at Émile Marker : 16 years old and he has 467OR. He will be one of the worlds best cuz I got him at 15 with close to 300OR.

Well at least Tierney is slowing down. 18 and 4/6 CL. Thank god for that 
Does age have an effect on training? I thought it was just quality until the career ran out.
i have a question about my prospect whom i think has a good chance of making team canada in few seasons. His name is Mathew Robert; he is on my teams.. obviously. His qualities are 54-96-87-96-55-99-76. I see him as a two way, sniping, forward. Thoughts?

I would have him on the National Team as soon as next season. Get him on a kid line with Marker. You'll help his cause with your strong Training Facility.
My top 16 year old are both goalies (OR 401 and 369)
