Technically we finished first but it was a meaningless 1st because we only carry over the results from the games against teams that weren't relegated.
So Latvia are ahead of us cuz they will be 1 and 1 for 3 points with a +5.
Whereas we are 1 and 1 for 3 points with a -1.
Thankfully France really s$#t the bed when they played Latvia and are 1 and 1 with 3 points and -4

Now all we have to do to make the final playoffs is to really just match what France does. How on earth does Slovakia not make it? Could you imagine they get relegated?
Well seriously what is up with Spain? The way they played made that group by far the toughest of the 4, with Finland, Hungary and Slovakia all very good teams.
Slovenia played High. That was likely the difference. We have decent energy heading into the final two games of this stage. We're still sitting in a playoff spot. A good result against Brazil and all will be well for the next stage

Big game today. A win against Brazil and a France loss would put us in very good shape!

We got a point from the shootout but in the end the loss gives Brazil one more point then us. We now need to win and hope France beats Brazil.
4-3 OTL to Serbia. From won 6-5 against Brazil. Thus Canada, France and Brazil all are tied with 5 points. However Brazil advances on goal differential.The shootout loss to Brazil sunk us. An OTW today or SOW today would have put us through. Has been a pleasure managing Team Canada. Thanks for everyone's support and cooperation.
