It's been a while since I've pulled a good player. I got two in one season and crap since then.

Tech for D-men isn't nearly as important as it used to be. Train him at 6-2-3-2-3 and in a couple season's he'll either be a useful player for you or a valuable commodity on the market.
I actually train shot substantially on some Dmen. Their shooting ability impacts line shooting strength. It is often quick and cheap (in terms of training points) to improve your shooting OTS by training shot on D if their Qs are there. I have two who I run on the PP who have substantial shooting. Likewise though I have guys that have no shot training at all.
Ya. I only meant that He shouldn't train Shooting on this particular D-man because he has a low shot Q
Yeah, I'm just upset with the Tech rating because I generally keep Tec 10% higher than Agr on all my Dmen to ensure I don't get a lot of penalties.
