Canucks suck, but not as much as the other canadian teams like montreal (and edmonton).
I personally don't really watch hockey but there are a few teams loaded with goons (or with such a reputation) I can't bear: bruins, flyers, leafs. Change their style and they might get more support from other parts of the country... Sens, Detroit, penguins, Canucks, they're fun to watch.
I figured someone would pick up on that. I've long hated the Leafs for many reasons. Though I have grown to love them, in a twisted way due to their ability to always make bad decisions from a managerial stand point.
You want to know why people cheer against the Canucks? Exhibit 1: Ryan Kesler.

Doughty is just as much a diver, and Kesler is a bad diver. Even CBC who hates the Canucks talks about doughty diving. It's you opinion to hate the Canucks and then only hear what you want to help prove your point. Yes the Canucks dive, but just as much as other teams.
I honestly wish they'd stop. They have so much potential to be the class of the NHL. I don't get it...
They do play better when they just play hockey... every team does.
