kicking the penalty goal would have been a good start

honestly i cant see too much wrong with your settings against him.
My only suggestion would be a couple of late substitutions around the 70/80min mark. It would have given you some fresh legs at the end.
However, when all's said and done, it was really just a bit of bad luck.

well, once it went 0:1 there is not much u would do.. I would fully agree w/crico as the fresh couple of legs could be the only thing to make the difference and u were able to do
Happy to report all 30 snowflakes found. Great post on the international forum with all the locations... You can now start Crico!
Bummer lost 2 to 1 in the cup
Wasted energy should have just played very low and scratched the match!!

happen same to me, underestimated newbie and second match that I could have won easily..
.. reckon, u will finish ahead of me this year again
btw: only 17, got 9 tday

The last one I got was pretty hard to spot, pretty much white on white on the league table
My final report of the year is on the teams facing relegation in Division 1. Currently we have six inactive teams, all in the bottom ten teams so it seems likely the top 12 will all be safe from relegation. It also seems likely the bottom two are guaranteed relegation. However, the four remaining inactive teams are currently ahead of the four active teams so there will be an interesting contest to see who stays up and who goes down.
Starting with the active teams, all are currently managing intensity poorly. The Eels and Sky Blues are playing very low every game which is good for preserving team energy but leaves them open to upsets from teams they should or could beat. Essance are playing very high which has yielded just one upset against the Sky Blues but, if they continue, they won't be able to beat anyone by the end of the year. Croydon are playing high every game which helped them beat Essance and draw with the Terriers and Sky Blues but will also see them struggle by the end of the season.
Given the inactive teams are all beatable, it would make sense for the four active teams to concentrate their intensity on them (except Noname who should be beatable on very low) and the other three lowly placed active teams while reducing intensity in games they have no chance of winning. The prize for the teams that succeed is 13th or 14th spot and another crack next year.
Another issue for Essance and the eels is their formations. Essance are playing three centre forwards and only one centre midfielder. Strengthening the midfield would also improve their prospects. The Eels are playing an eccentric Roman phalanx formation which, while it strengthens the midfield somewhat, is a relatively inefficient use of players. Also with no reserves set, they open themselves to inefficient auto selected teams whenever there is an injury or suspension.
Of the inactive teams, Duval, Port Adelaide and the Bluebirds are all only recently inactive so have benefitted from winning games earlier in the season before inactivity hit their form. Bluebirds are weakest and will almost certainly be in the bottom four by the end of the season. The remaining draw is somewhat kind to Port and they have the best chance of avoiding relegation.
I am loathe to predict who of the active teams will be relegated because with more than half the season remaining, there is plenty of time for any of them to move out of the drop zone. But with a strong group of teams in Div.2, it would be risky to assume you will be safe in the playoff zone.

Good win to your guys in the end considering Parra pulled out all stops. Barbalicious tanked my game so it was pretty easy and I ended up wasting more energy than I would have liked.
PS I'm following you through the draw so I seem to be checking out every one of your games to work out my own tactics. Thanks
