Yep. Match engine is getting too ridiculous for me. The amount of shots on target required for me to get a goal is embarrassing, even though the shooting/tech attributes of my forward/mid players are very good (60-90% of primary). I feel like there's no real management aspect to this game anymore and it's just luck.
Candy Sellers did that to me, highland terriers, in round 18.. 0-0 was the final score but shots on goal 9-0 to me.... A bit of luck is ok, bit of skill good too.
I wouldn't mind if it was just a one-off, but it happens too often. I basically need 5+ shots just to score one goal against a team with an active manager. It feels like a waste of time.
Spurs took 12 shots on target last night against Reading for 3 goals.
Day before that Liverpool put 9 shots on target for 1 goal against Sunderland, and Sunderland put 4 on for 1 goal the other way.
Manchester City vs Stoke? City put 12 shots on target for just 1 goal and Stoke 3 for their 1 goal.
In fact over the last weeks Premier League games, the average shots on target per goal is around 5. It's no coincidence that the average on PPM is around that also when playing a team with an active manager.

Man U also had 5 shots on target for 4 goals.
Look at the other games between active teams in the league: Remaned=12/6; Colah=7/4; TB=11/7
Prestige=10/1...against a keeper who had a save % of 60% before the game...and the 1 goal was from a penalty kick.

Yes, but ManU are a team with monster snipers and they were playing a team at the low end of the spectrum. When one team is far better than the other, that will always happen.
Not good to look at my teams stats... right now i'm the ManU of the league. LOL But, i really want that to change, and you've got a great team, so losing you would really suck

Guys, is this means that e1 except BF & TB is leaving?!?!
I hope not, only quality competition is keeping me here so..

Yah.
I told PPM seasons back that making Australia its own league was a massive mistake. While we had the numbers at the time, the turnaround of managers was too high. They should have seen this, instead of throwing the "just refer new managers" line at us.
I guess if we don't keep up the numbers they'll move us back into the other World or something, and those who were abandoned into OW at the time, and left because of the lack of competition will essentially get screwed to the wall.
Not happy with PPM at all TBH.

Good stuff. Hardest part is keeping those in Div 1 it seems

Most of those teams have logged in just once and never returned.
By my reckoning, we have 14 active teams in Div 1 with the Candy Sellers likely to be managerless very soon and Leikas seeming unenthusiastic with their logins.
2.1 has four active teams with another in the same boat as Leikas
2.2 has seven active teams
2.3 has three active teams plus a couple who joined just recently and have logged in 3-4 times so will hopefully hang around
2.4 also has three active teams and another two in the same boat as Leikas
That gives us 31-36 teams in total.
And, in answer to Suromias's question, Colah Creek will be around for a few seasons yet.

Dread Renamed/Colah/TB are all some of the best squads in Australia which explains there better goal percentage. When I get back from Basketball Ill have a look at the seasons averages and get back to you here and see what the stats tell us.
