He has the highest AVQ in the league, so he's definitely worth looking at. It's reading as a 90 for me.
Scratch that, he's number one in the country. Lovely.
I added him to the team, so he will go on the market if the Cobras fold.
I've played the top three teams in the league, according to team strength, and I'm still in first place. I'll consider this a successful start to the season! Now I have to make sure I prevent upsets when I play the weaker teams.
I have a question. How can I win a game 3-2 and my player has 2 assist but still ended up a -1?
Powerplay goals don't count towards your +/-. You scored twice on the powerplay, which keeps his +/- at 0, then the other team scored against that line, giving him a -1.
It almost feels that way, doesn't it? Hopefully we can finish the season without losing any more teams.
Yeah, and hopefully most or all of them will end up relegating and we can start next season with a clean slate.
As a bottom-level team, it's a blessing in disguise, as it's giving my team a season to adjust. That way, when the newcomers next year arrive, I won't feel like fodder (although my team may play like it anyway).
Most of the reason I finally made it to the top league from this league was that 3/4 of the teams that were above me (and below me) in ability folded.
Contrast that to II.3. Instead of the 9-16 teams becoming the 1-8 teams in a few years, the same teams are competitive each year.
