I see now.
The goalie should help - one season should be enough to get enough chemistry. I actually play my starting goalie along with my prospects during exhibition games to gain chemistry and experience. He looks like he should be the best goalie. The Momentum, Cobras, and Bruisers each have 1,100 OR 22 year olds who may eventually be better. The Yellowknife Goldminers have a 1,200 OR goalie. He might be the best next season depending on his experience.
You could probably use another defenseman too.

That's definitely my next purchase. I've desperately needed a right defenseman all season, but for some reason I never got around to buying one. I'm going to sell a few of my current wingers off, but they'll be replaced soon. I just want to upgrade them a little. I'm also selling Sefczik. He's down to 1/6, and is rather not pay his salary when he will only be a backup now. My third goalie is more than capable of taking over, so it won't be a problem.
Well, lost to the Cobras again which means I finished 4th. His goalie had his tryhard pants on, stopping 44 of 46 shots.
And now, it's offseason time!

I was ready to give up after yesterday's shootout loss. I even forgot to adust my tactics for today's game. I somehow won 5-1 and outshot them 2:1. Maybe home advantage Really matters or something. I don't like my chances against the Slatington Serpents, so I better win the next game.
Dang, congrats Caps! I honestly thought the Bruisers had it in the bag this season. Good luck in I.1, use your funds wisely and stuff. And good luck Bruisers in the promotion round!
Thanks! Good luck next season. I thought the Bruisers would win, but I guess that my team had more energy saved. It helps that I also forgot to drop the fourth line until the last game.
I think I've joined 1 or possibly 2 managers with three teams in I.1. Of course, my hockey and soccer teams will struggle to stay up there.
Congrats capsaicin, My guys were low on energy but that's part managing the game. I may have pushed too hard to advance in the National Cup but i don't know if it's that or my team just didn't show up. Either way great series and good luck to you next season.
Good luck to everyone this season! It looks like it will be a three way race between the Bruisers, Carolina Cobras, and Rainbow Unicorns, though a few teams with at least 120 OR could probably buy their way into contention.
This was a fun league to play in. I'll probably be back in one of the tier II leagues next year.

Wow, it looks like I just checked into the Ass Whipping League. And its my ass that will be getting whipped!
But if you guys ever need to find me, I'm here in the basement. I'll be here all season.

Your facilities and arena are looking nice though. Are you looking to continue upgrading those, or will you buy some better players to compete faster? Either option would probably help you.
I'm worried that the Cobras might go inactive before this season ends. He hasn't logged in since July 20th. . . I believe he has six more days left to log in before he loses his team.

This season I am concentrating on expanding my arena. Then upgrade a couple of the facilities to the next level. I've got a pretty young team with some decent potential, just need more training.
I see the Cobras have been around since the beginning. It would be a shame to loose them.

Hopefully he doesn't. I think he almost logged in just before he lost his team in the past.
There are also a few players on his team that I want to scout who I wouldn't want to lose to a dead team (though I may not be able to get to them in time since I have better players to scout).
Richard Jacob
To a lesser extent:
Devon Washington
Floyd Easton

Thanks! Washington and Easton are probably longshots even in the best case scenario, but Jacob's unscouted 99% AVQ is intriguing.
