Anyone know why the game times are pushed back an hour?

Wait, I just looked it up. Apparently most countries end their DST's a week earlier than us. Makes sense, I guess.

They probably use the date it would have been before it changed in 2007.

Yeah, the U.S. switched the end of our DST to the first Sunday in November instead of the standard last Sunday in October.

On a league-related note, I have officially played every inactive team in our league. Now I have to actually try to win games...

So all this season I'm wondering why I'm pulling crap players and tonight I found out: I didn't have my staff assigned. LOL. Paying those guys hundred of thousands per day to go to a cafe. Dream job!

And now the Silly Nannies have become inactive, right before I'm supposed to play them. Convenient timing, but I really don't like how our league is slowly imploding.

That's just the way this game is. Teams will move up to replace them, and the teams already in this league below the team that quit will move up. I was suprised since they seemed like they could eventually become competitive.

You're probably not lucky since they won't become really bad right away. Of course, you will know exactly which tactics they choose to use.

Yeah, winning shouldn't be a problem. I noticed the manager remade a team that's now in division IV. I wonder if he ran into financial problems?

A despicable game by Momentum. It all went downhill after this truning point:

A duel at the boards. Julian Šutera hits his opponent harder than would be fair and sends him down to the ice. The referee says play on. But Alfredo Montón, doesn't like it and he takes the role of the avenger. He challenges Julian Šutera to a fight, who looks into the furious eyes of his opponent and he tries to escape. This is unheard of, it looks like a Chaplin grotesque. Julian Šutera escapes along the boards, and he has Alfredo Montón on his heels who is chased by both of the linesmen!!! The fans are amazed. This funny foursome is now on their third lap!!! Julian Šutera finally escapes to his bench. Alfredo Montón satisfied with this chase sits down on his bench. Well I have never seen anything like this. This will surely be the talk among the fans for a long time.

I still don't understand why there are never fights, 4-4's, or 4-3's in this game; I suppose it would complicate the lineup somewhat.

That is glorious. I agree, there should be major penalties, and fights, but they'd have to add new lineups, and probably do some other programming to the game engine.

I'm rather surprised at the score. I was expecting a close score either way, not a complete blowout. Next game is on your ice, hopefully my team can play half as well as they did today.
