Being able to implement some sort of ice time assignment and line matching would move this game forward tremendously. Maybe they could make the % of successful line matching also take the HC into consideration along with whether you are home or away.
Yes for sure. It'll be interesting to try and weigh that line. It will also have to mean less training energy for the day too so there will be another consideration. Do you use your star a lot today making him less competitive (in terms of atty) in the future.
I suppose there wont be any guarantee in trying to match a type of line specifically to a particular one of an opponent. That because the opponent could always just move it to another position.

honestly I don't know how well line matching would work. If I can now weigh my lines to have more ice time than I simply jumble my lines every game and make my 1st my 3rd and so on.
Not that its a bad idea and I'm sure smarter people than me could figure out how to make it work, its just not something I'd put at the top of the list of things I want added.

when having this feature, I'd like to know current icetime, in order to have at least some guidance
Can u explain me what +/- rating means ?
Does experience gained by a player have any connection with this rating ?
Tnx.

+/- reflects a players participation in the scoring of a game. During even strength play every time a player is on the ice when his team scores he gets +1, every time he is on the ice and the other team scores he gets -1. Powerplay goals do not count in this stat. Shorthanded goals do.
Could it mean the difference between the number of goals that a specific line scored and the number of goals that same line received? (without taking in consideration PP and PK goals)
Ok, you were faster than me
!
So, my intuition is correct...but does it have any connection with experience/chemistry ?

i don't know that their is a direct correlation but generally more experienced players and lines will play better.
Not as far as I know. The +/- is simply an indication of whether a player is on the ice when your team scores or is scored on. Naturally, a positive number is good

To combat this type of line juggling you could make it so that if you set to match your third with the opponents first it would use pucks to determine line strength instead of hard coded line numbers.
